  1. Neptune took soo much crap for announcing Trident, and then taking a few years to release. They are now gun shy about announcing a rev 2.0. But I'm hoping too!
  2. Thanks for the heads up. I've got family activities going on this weekend, planned around these windows. Friday Nov 18th : 6-8pm Saturday Nov 19th : Noon-3pm Sunday Nov 20th : 4-6pm If you need to pick up earlier than Noon on Saturday, PM me and let's sync.
  3. I love daily testing of the Big3. Game changer for me. I dearly want the same for NO3 & PO4. I can't do even 15minutes 3 times a week, Every week. (I've done daily for 30days straight. But couldn't maintain that forever)
  4. @Parzifal @AquaKey @503reefdroid @islandVib3s @svt_guido @Kerbash @reefbandit@Leonardomanzano @Emerald525 @J-Dog @jtichenor @Yourmedic @radom808 @OregonGrownReef @Bicyclebill @obrien.david.j @Brittany @Lexinverts @badxgillen @SeymoreGulls@Gumby IMPORTANT UPDATE... 5. Thanks to Harley @PNWCustom You'll have your choice of PopUp stand colors when you pickup your frag from my house this weekend.
  6. Announcing Pickup Weekend #2 - at my house. I will have PopUp stands and free plastic Rulers for photos. 2885 NW Bauer Woods Dr, Portland OR, 97229 ( west side of town, north of Hwy 26 off Cedar Hills blvd exit - east of Bethany area) Friday Nov 18th : 6-8pm Saturday Nov 19th : Noon-3pm Sunday Nov 20th : 4-6pm Please PM me to confirm date/time of your pickup. Also confirm @reefrun has received your payment before pickup.
  7. Thanks for posting the pict. I see what you mean. The inside overflow is a challenge for me. Can you take two measurements? From inside the tank, what's the distance between; Side to Overflow? Overflow to Front?
  8. shoot me a picture of the tank if you don't mind. I'm specifically looking to see the corner seams. (are the corners glued, or bent?) scratches and cleanliness just dont matter.
  9. I've got two frags of "mint birdsnest" (it's the color, not any official name). $20 if you'd like one. I'm located in 97229, west side of Pdx, Bethany area. PM if interested. Frags (tops down view) Mother Colony
  10. Supposed to be ready today. @Emerald525 - Can you see if the stands are ready yet? I'm at the coast until tomorrow/Sunday night, so could only go pick them up in the eve - or Monday. Unless @reefrun you've got someone who can get them for you and drop them off. Don't want you burning any covid-recovery energy on this. For anyone who gets a frag from ReefRun this weekend, I'll have stands at my place (97229/west side of town) next weekend if you want them right away. For anyone picking up a frag Next weekend from me, they'll come with the stand.
  11. How big is the wrasse - I've got one, and although it wouldn't be idea, I'll bet I could house it in a 20gal for a couple of months. Either just put gravel in your 20G, until your done. Or, I've seen people fill a tuperware container with gravel in it into a bare bottom tank for Wrasses to sleep in. It sure feels like you've got room to keep those two fish.
  12. I take back my comment, Peppermint shrimp ARE available. SaltwaterAquarium.com has them on sale. 12 are $88, right now. According to my experience, I needed at least 24. https://www.saltwateraquarium.com/captive-bred-peppermint-shrimp-12-lot-lysmata-sp-ora-chicago/
  13. Another option is simply sell the fish, or the ones you feel can't be kept in your 20g medication tank. Heck, the $ selling the fish may pay for the peppermint shrimp. You could also offer them as a trade for shrimp from a local store. There is one kink in my suggestions here... Florida has been hit by hurricanes and my internet search yesterday found all peppermint shrimp "out of stock." (I've gotten all mine from Florida sellers in the past.) Maybe another reason to make a deal with a fish shop. They are able to check wholesalers/etc that I couldn't. Just offering an option, in case it's Aptasia that are driving you to get rid of the tank.
  14. We're kind of limited on time. Thought was to do a form of blind gift exchange (of dry goods). Define a cost limit. For everyone who brings one, give them a token. an hour later, let those with tokens take their pick of the one of the blind packages brought. Forgot to say, ask everyone to bring their gift WRAPPED. When they go to pick a gift, they'll know which wrapping is their own, and dont have to pick it. Kind of a one-pass, and done, topic. But, If you're running it... You make the rules that make you happy!
  15. I've fought a massive Aptasia infestation, and Won. (thread below) The recipe, modified for you IN TANK treatment; Aptasia Death, by peppermint shrimp -- IN DISPLAY TANK Take couple dozen peppermint shrimp (I used 26) Remove all fish from tank Don't feed the tank. No food, No Food, No Food. Death by hungry Peppermint Shrimp! (This will likely take a full Month to work. More peppermint shrimp, mean faster time) Punch line, you need peppermint shrimp to be hungry. Aptasia is their food. And after you can't see any aptasia, give the shrimp an extra week (or two) to go after the smaller/not visible remains.
  16. I'm dangling a lot of things off my Apex. Use it for multiple temp probes, multiple pH probes, mixing stuff, lights, power heads. Two different tiers of heaters, for when the nights get Really cold, another bank of heaters kicks in. (sump is in the garage)
  17. Mine is an off the shelf standard rack. Then I enlarged the upper holes. Then I put blue tape upside down to hold the caps in place to dry.
  18. Can you give me a more specific name to look up, or a link. I googled Acrylic Factory near Seattle and no go. This is an option for me. looking for like 12". It's not a frag tank, it's going to be a fixed height station to put a skimmer in. Sounds like Glass. Thanks, but I'm looking for something I can cut/reshape if needed.
  19. I'm looking for a used acrylic aquarium for an equipment room experiment. I'm flexible on size and condition. Tank must have a minimum 22"x22" footprint. Could easily use a 4' x 2' tank. Even if it's scratched, may even be able to use a cracked tank. Tell me what you have.
  20. Fantastic! Towards the end, I want to see a pict of your frag, set in context of your whole display tank.
  21. Here's what my test kit organizer looks like; Okay, maybe inside... And I made a little drying rack to keep the Hanna vials upside down. Does anyone else use a Unitary Wash Bottle full of RO to perform your final rinse? I suspect you can find it cheaper, but this is a good reference picture.
  22. I'm in! Better start making the next batch of frags. I'm sure we'll need them.
  23. I did a bunch of DIY back in the day... No CNC machine, mostly with a hack saw and a file. Yours looks much better. Thanks for sharing.
