I launched my IT support business in 2001, and now after many years of hard work, I finally sold that business. For now I’m planning to shut down and sell my reef tank so my wife & I can travel and figure out when and where we will resettle. I’ll post a classified ad for my tank soon.
While I may be out of the hobby for a while, I intend to continue my role of PNWMAS Treasurer and will remain somewhat active in the forums as time permits. I'm not sure about my timeline, but I'm sure I'll get sucked back into reefing at some point. I have met some wonderful people through PNWMAS, and I love the camaraderie of this group, so I plan to remain involved. At a minimum, I will be 100% devoted to the upcoming May meeting at CNC, the Group Buys, and the June meeting in Newport.
Thanks to all of you for your support and friendship since I began my reefing adventure in 2018.

Shops should implement a new store policy: If you enter with a cup, you must take a big drink from that cup upon entry. Otherwise, get the f*ck out of the store.

For the upcoming May 15th meeting & party at Cuttlefish & Corals, we will be offering several group buys. This is your chance to score some amazing frags at even more amazing prices! Jeff has selected some premium colonies to frag up and make available to a select lucky few members who sign up in time.
Over the next several days, we will be opening new Group Buy threads for each colony. Most will be open to about 10 people, and it's first come, first serve. If you're interested in getting in on these deals, watch for the new threads to be announced each day at 6:00 pm, and reply to that thread if you want to claim your spot. The first X responders to each thread will have 24 hours to make their payment, but if not paid, then the next person in line will be offered that spot. The frags will be available for pickup at the May 15th meeting at Cuttlefish.
In addition, there will be an extra-special group buy only available to paid Supporting Members. If you want to get in on that one, but you're not yet a Supporting Member, see this link for details on signing up in advance so you don't miss the opportunity:
Good luck, everyone!!!

FYI: I have a COR20 on my Reefer XL 425. It's plumbed with 1" PVC, has 3 x 90 degree elbows and 2 x 45 degree elbows before exiting through the Red Sea nozzle which is only about 5/8". Total plumbing height is only about 4 feet, yet my flow never exceeds 450 gph.

You delete them from the list of Outputs. Which model of Apex? If it's the current Apex 2016 or Apex-EL, this can be done from Fusion. If it's an Apex Classic or older model, it must be done from the Classic Dashboard.

Thanks for the overview. The scope and scale of the Willamette Water Supply System project is massive, and it's something I've been following for some time since construction has been underway for the past few years in my area. It's also part of the larger South Cooper Mountain concept plan which was finalized in 2014 and envisions the area's growth into the 2050's. Big projects.

Welcome! Yes, not only do we have a locel group, we have a great group of volunteers who help coordinate meetings, events, raffles, group buys, etc. Once you arrive, keep your eye on the Meetings & Events subforum for announcements. You'll find a lot of friendly and enthusiastic reefers here.
By the way, I also live in Beaverton!

Well done, @SuncrestReef. Sadly, this will have to apply to my PNWMAS guests, as well. VC management has had to be arbitrary about this whether we're hosting a meeting or hosting 37 3rd graders from Roseburg. It occurs to me that this is likely an OSU policy that has been handed down rather than a HMSC policy. Thankfully, I'm not required to be at those meetings.
Suncrest's following up on the fee to update the meeting post is commendable but should not have been necessary. I've been meaning to post a follow up to that thread and make you folks aware of it but have not made that happen yet. Sorry about that, y'all. I really am looking forward to hosting you folks again.
This is not a problem at all, and no need to apologize. I just wasn't aware of the entry fee until I saw this thread, so I thought I should ask.
I'll update the meeting announcement so there is no confusion for attendees in June. I personally am really looking forward to this event !!!

And just for anyone following along on this thread, don't forget we'll be holding our June PNWMAS meeting at the Hatfield Marine Science Center on June 4th!
Sid, will the $3 entry fee apply to this meeting? If so, I'll update the meeting announcement post so everyone will be aware.

The trident knows it’s master.
I got one of the very first Tridents on launch night, but I got it 36 minutes early due to a glitch in the BRS web site. They accidentally opened it up for sale in advance of the midnight sale schedule. They were sold out 1 hour later. 🥳

Bump...
We're just over a week away from the big party! We're expecting a good turnout, and you're not going to want to miss this one!
We just added another great raffle prize to the list:
In order to have enough food prep time, we moved the start time back to 1:00 pm, but the shop will still be open if you wanted to arrive at noon as originally posted. We also moved the first raffle to 2:00 pm in order for everyone to have enough time to get their tickets placed.
Can't wait to see everyone!
