  1. There are first dibs on it all now. I'll post again if those fall through. Thanks all. I didn't want to have to kill these corals.
  2. These are the last corals that I've got and I need to break the tank down. I can't get them off the rock, so I'm just going to give the rock away. One on the left is a rock flower on a big 10-15pound rock. The one on the right is a bunch of green zoa growing on a 10pounder. Then a bit in the middle is an orange encrusting coral I can't remember the name of. There will be some asterina stars on these rocks...maybe a bristle worm or star...but all rock has been in my tank for 18months so very much alive. Need gone ASAP - NE portland. 100% free. Bring a bucket. Let me know.
  3. I've got a tank mount for Radions ready to go if you need one. I switched over to the hanging rail system, so I don't need the tank mount any longer. $50 Takes it home - NE Portland.
  4. I got this guy a few months ago to help with a little asterina star problem. Now I have no more asterina stars.... $15? NE Portland But you gotta have stars in the tank, or a willingness to feed him stars. These guys don't eat anything else.
  5. Corals are (mostly) out. So now I can start stripping down the equipment. Here's what I can have ready first...shoot me a text with any questions (512-731-7609) EQUIPMENT: APEX Gold (Classic): $400 - Has all probes including an additional temp probe. APEX EB8: Few months old: $120 (Holding) MP40 QD: 18months old: $250 Deltec 1455: year old $375 (this thing is super quiet, pulls great. Deltec is fantastic) Emperor 40W UV: 9months old: $250 (will need new bulb in a few months as per their replacement guidelines) To run it I've also got a variable speed EHEIM Pump w/ all connections built in: $50 TUNZE 3155: $125 (Holding) Three BRS 1.1 Dosers: $40 each (One is a few months old. The other two are 18 months old.) SUPPLIES: Testing Supplies: $100 -Hannah Phosphate with 15 or so powder packets: -Red Sea Testing (very full on all. At least 80% on each. Maybe 20 tests total from each ever): Nitrate, phosphate, MG (expired but still works fine), PH, ALK, Cal, -Copper Test kit (only used for 10 tests give or take) Unopened Kent Kalk 500g: $10 Unopened Fritz: 35 (Holding) LIVE ROCK: I've got probably 80 pounds of rock. It's a mixture of base rock and real reef rock that was all in my tank for the full 18 months. I've got some asterina stars, a few bristle worms, and some vermetid snails. So if that doesn't matter to you then let me know. Or I might just nuke it and sell it as dry rock. Either way.
  6. Sorry for the repeat post but these are getting lost in the shuffle a bit. Of the remaining stuff these three are my favorites and I want to see them off. Gold Micro Hammer (Off a bigger chunk Jorge got a while back). $110 Double Green Hammer: Thing is bright neon green. Only had it a few weeks. $80 Green Bubble Coral: Can't get a great picture - but this thing bubbles up huge: $50 Lots of other stuff still available, but these are my favs. Call or text: 512-731-7609
  7. Update with what has been picked up.
  8. I'd say the most common drain is: bulkhead slip to PVC - glued. Then leave a couple inches and put a union that then goes to your gate valve and then into the sump. You don't want the union to be right up against the bulkhead because you want to be able to saw through the PVC in case you ever need to replace the bulkhead for some reason. Every line (drain or return) should have a union right up there somewhere. That will allow you the ability to separate the tank from the sump if you need to....just hope you don't. That's gonna be hard no matter what.
  9. Sounds good. There are three on one piece of shelf rock.
  10. Y'all can also text me at: 512-731-7609 with questions or to figure out pick up.
  11. It's on it's own smallish rock - so just take that if you want it.

  14. Always a good idea to split it up. The way I did mine was to just imagine if one goes out, what is left on. In the short term you need water movement and heat (depending on time of year this becomes less important). You don't need lights/doser etc. So the only issue I see is maybe with the heaters. If you could put one heater on each that would be ideal, but as we get into the summer months this probably wont even be an issue. One thing to also keep in mind - when the return pump goes off and you backflow to the sump, make sure the power heads are A) low enough to still work in the water level, B) not SO low that you're not getting any surface breaking. You need the ripples to supply oxygen to the tank. So just turn your return pump off and see what happens. As for the power strips - can you put them somewhere that's at least more covered? And make sure you're looping all of your plugs. I have a big problem with my wall outlet being under the tank, but I've never been able to figure out a real solution. I tried buying one of those outdoor plastic lid things, but it doesn't fit my plug set up. So I just kind of laid it on top of the plugs. Not great, but jeeze..knock on wood!
  15. Tank back up to 77....they were probably pissed off but I'm sure they'll be alright. I've never had an Ebo Jager go out (knock on wood more don't)....but I guess it happens.
  16. Just spent 30min slowly acclimating a new awesome pair of naso's from C&C....put them into tank and my hand hit the water and whoa - real cold. uh oh. Water is at 71...so no the end of the world but not great. My EHEIM heater (about 30months old) just isn't firing up and I didn't have the APEX hooked up to the internet so no alarms. put a back up on while I go find a new EHEIM. Check your temps!
  17. Aiptasia X will nuke it - just follow the directions. Gotta sneak up on it with current off and surprise cover it.
  18. Yes, but it's imperative I have lights that can mimic the light cycle of anywhere on the planet. I mean. Come on.
  19. I think you added an 0 to that price by mistake. ????????
  20. So you bottomed it out to zero, or did you use the 35 solution? Either way you shouldn't be that far off. I'd mix up little bit of salt water in a bucket and measure that to just as a test. Add a bit of salt and then more salt and make sure it's reading the increase. But this is a pretty basic tool - if you're getting the right reading on the calibration fluid then it should be working and ready to go. Do you have any other way of measuring the salinity at the moment? Maybe borrow another one or something to double test it. Who knows...I've seen crazier things.
  21. Hey awesome. I didn't know about this option either. That's something new from the Fusion upgrade. I can't sign up because my dumb Netgear wifi bridge is so crappy. I've disconnected too many times in the past 24hrs...so I can't check off that last bit. I need to figure out a better solution. Does anybody have something better than the netgear bridge to connect this thing wirelessly?
  22. Can it go in the sump? I don't have space otherwise. So the LED would have to sit on top of it if that would work? Sump chamber is 20x20 give or tank. 200g tank
