  1. Well, after almost 10yrs of Portland life we’re moving to the East Coast. I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure chatting aquariums with y’all and I’ve enjoyed getting to know a few of you beyond the forum. There’s a great community of reefers here and it’s been fun having such an active club. Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way with advice or knowledge…and to those who tossed me a fish/coral or grabbed one from me. Some of my nicest pieces came out y’all’s garages and basements. Hopefully I was able to pay that forward as well. And not that he needs it - but a big shout out to Jeff and the crew over at Cuttlefish. I first walked into the store on Mississippi maybe 9 years ago and by my estimates - all the fish/corals I blew through probably paid for the big new store. But it’s always been a good time and the place to go for quality stuff. Jeff helped me empty out the big tank and get rid of everything easily, and that’s just one example of those folks going above and beyond to help the community. Anyway - check your salinity. QT everything wet. Spend the money on an APEX and leak sensors. And backup your heaters. Later.
  2. I listed this in my equipment thread, but it's worth calling out on it's own. Just a solid Spectrapure RODI for making a lot of water. Comes with the full system, and the booster pump - but I don't have the filters. There's an inline TDS as well. $150 pick up in NE Portland.
  3. Hi it’s not a complete system. Just tank stand and sump. Your buddy won’t find a better quality tank for that price but I can’t imagine starting with a 200! I like the idea of it though. Might as well jump in the deep end.
  4. It is a very heavy tank...that's for sure. I think I used up all my friend brownie points with getting help setting it up and taking it down.
  5. Alright y'all - this is definitely a niche item, but I know someone out there could use more tank space and we're moving to Virginia and can't take this with us. So, this thing is priced to sell. I've posted the details before - but this is a custom made 200g (80x24x24). It's got euro bracing and comes with a great stand and huge sump. It does need to be cleaned up - coralline on the back wall, sump washed out, stuff like that. The photo is of the tank when it was up and running. It's now in my garage and ready to be loaded up. I can't get a front shot cause it's up against the wall. $500 takes it. I mean...that's a steal, right?

Ok - it's just time for these to go! Someone's about to get a deal on some lights. Three Radion XR30's (Generation 3), with hanging kit and diffusers included - for $300 total. They're the older generation but still bright as can be and work great.
  7. I have a thread for just the tank & stand - but I gotta get this thing moved so I've combined it with the lights for a steal. 200g Custom Euro-Braced tank with black silicone. 80x24x24 Custom stand with cabinets built local by a member 48in sump built local by a member 3x Radion XR30: Generation 3's with black cover and diffusers included. 12. I’m far from any kind of expert - but what kind of heater is it? If it’s a traditional heater with its own on/off then maybe it’s set pretty low and simply not turning on? The apex outlet can be on without the heater flipping on. that would explain the lack of watts. Maybe that’s it?
  13. Hi. Thank you but I’m moving and need to break everything down so I can’t take a trade.
  14. Just emptied out and ready to go - a 32 biocube with the built in leds and timer. Comes with a heater and the pump and I have a media basket that I think fits this model. Then a white controller mp10. ***not the rock $125
  15. Rock is currently on hold pending pickup...but I'll update if it comes back up.
