Does anyone have rapid led onyx fixtures hooked up to an Apex? I'm unable to get the Apex to register the onyx fixtures when plugged in to the base unit VDM Jacks. I'll call rapid led tomorrow unless anyone has used them before and has advice...

I've never used a Ca Reactor and have always stuck with BRS 2 part. Thinking about switching sometime soon. Other than the long term cost savings of using a reactor instead of 2 part, what are all your thoughts on the biological and chemical benefits of using a reactor instead? I hear it's potentially better and more stable for the aquarium but why? Also, recommendations of brands? Thanks!

I supplement the ati t5s with LEDs. Makes color look great and picks up any spectrum that may be deficient From led alone. Also reduces the spot effect from led. I use the coral blue plus bulbs with a work hours 5 ballast. (btw,i still owe you a copperband. Has not been caught yet and still waiting on that darn fish trap)

I updated (or think I did) the firmware for the Apex and display module and it still does it.

Done all of the above. Nothing really came up on the Apex support forum either. Figured i would double check here before having to deal with returning and getting a replacement.

I just got an Apex and got everything configured and firmware updated. The display screen is all white with the text barely being visible. I adjusted the brightness and contrast but it has almost no effect. Has anyone experienced this? Does it sound like a defective unit?
