  1. I got one recently from Jeff at Cuttles and it grows really fast. The coloration is nearly identical to the picture you posted. Lots of movement and the gold color is intense. It seems really easy to keep.
  2. I got a small one from Jeff (Cuttles) when he had them on sale a while back and it has doubled in size in a three month period?? It is really a beautiful coral and seems easy to keep. Always lots of movement and the yellow coloration is very intense. I really like this coral.
  3. That looks like so much fun! Thanks for posting pictures.
  4. What are the dimensions on the tank?
  5. Sorry about the spelling error. Not sure how that happened
  6. Scott, I would love to pick up a frag and possibly talk to you about the blue tubs if they are still around. ArStevee you available tonight? Steve
  7. Does the club still own a PAR meter that can be checked out? I would love to measure my lighting that I am using.
  8. The 'special' title is unique. Go with it!
  9. I just added a calcium reactor to my tank. You all convinced me that it had more to offer than dosing alone. I added a calcium reactor and a small secondary reactor with gfo and charcoal. I now have to spend some time and try to balance the system to my tank needs. That is going to be a bit more difficult due to the fact that I do not have a PH probe and test manually (except salinity). The controller is probably next on the long list - that keep getting longer My decision to use the reactor was based on trying to gain consistency in the calcium/alkalinity side. Once I am more stable I will begin venturing into the hard corals (it's hard to be patient).
  10. Always lots of great stuff to look at. Jeff and the crew have always been great to work with. I will have to stop by!
  11. Wow,..... I had no idea this was possible. Very enlightening!
  12. I am also looking for a time when I can upgrade from my Chinese LED lights to a higher quality unit. It all comes down to dollars for me. At the time of purchase the Chinese lights gave me some great light at an affordable price. Now that I also have some AI Sol lights I see a big difference in the intensity and know that a better quality light does indeed do more than the inexpensive one that came from China. Certainly there is a place for the inexpensive light in our market, but I am now looking to the future when I can afford to upgrade to a better quality unit (and more expense).
  13. Wow, Looks like they are getting pretty big already! Great work.
  14. It would be great to do some things together with PNWMAS and the program in Newport. Maybe a monthly meeting with a speaker from their group??
  15. What is it about spouse's feeling that bills are more important than a new coral addition!
