  1. Many thanks to all of you. I look forward to working with you this year!
  2. These are from 2014. This was a Red Sea Max 250 all in one system. If I go back as far as @obrien.david.jI would have to post pictures of freshwater systems. This was my first successful reef tank. I started it in 2012 or 2013, I think.
  3. I'm one of those people trying out PNS bacteria dosing on my tanks. It's too early to tell if it doing anything, but I am excited about the possibilities. Thanks, Sharokh!
  4. How is the dino issue in your display?
  5. Here are my settings. I still have them running pretty low and I am likely to ramp them up some more. settings_Lexinverts_Uno2.txt
  6. If you could pick up for me, that would be great. Thanks!
  7. Sure, I'll post them when I get back from camping over the long weekend.
  8. That was fun! I shared some love for the PNWMAS. I was hoping to talk about my ReeFis and some of our local stores, but we ran out of time. Hopefully, I'll have time next time.
  9. I'll be on Rappin' with Reefbum this Thursday along with Eli from Aquabiomics talking about the tank and how I use the microbiome service. Rappin' with Reefbum
  10. Hi All, Jeff at Cuttlefishandcorals has generously offered to supply some vendors at the Coral Farmers Market on Sunday with pre-mixed saltwater. We need a volunteer with a truck or a van to pick up the saltwater from Cuttlefish and deliver it to the Holiday Inn by the airport by 7 pm Saturday evening, when the vendors are setting up their booths. I would do this myself, but I am 1.5 hrs away in Corvallis, and I am already making the drive up Sunday. We will give the volunteer 30 raffle tickets and a PNWMAS hat and water bottle for their trouble. Please let me know ASAP as Steve Tyree needs to get back to the vendors. Thanks in advance. I am looking forward to seeing you all at the show. Andy
  11. https://youtu.be/ipP8_DftwGw Time for a new tank video!
  12. I've got a used 1/4 horse power JBJ chiller in my garage that I will sell to you for cheap. JBJ is the best chiller brand in my opinion. Are you coming to the frag show?
  13. I am really looking forward to this. In addition to the advertised vendors, I believe that Paul Hamby from Seattle has decided to do the Portland show as well as the Seattle show. Top shelf vendors all around!
  14. In my systems, I use mesh bags in filter socks with rowaphos to lower phosphate. I do it this way because it doesn't lower phosphate too fast like a reactor can. My chaeto and skimmer keeps my nitrates pretty low, so I usually end up dosing nitrate to keep it around 15 ppm.
  15. Most of these long polyp toadstools tend to get longer polyps if they are in lower light.
  16. I worry that we are not going to have volunteers for President and Vice President this spring. I do think the club could continue if it is run by the Board of Directors and tasks are split up among us all. It would obviously be best, if we had a President and VP, however. If anyone is interested, please let us know so we can nominate you!
  17. Welcome! Your wife sounds pretty cool to me!
  18. Yes, we will frag several corals and then raffle off the frags. We are still working out the details of which corals we will frag. There will also be a raffle of a Reefi Uno 2.0, Oregon Tort frags and phytoplankton! In addition, Seahorse is offering a 10% off coupon for livestock for paying PNWMAS members! This meeting is going to be a good one! I hope to see many of you there!
