So a little update: most of the gluing and cutting is done for the frame. Today we clamped the frame together to get an idea of what it will look like. There will be support beams going across the bottom and top of the frame that are not in the picture. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Vodka dosing can take more than a couple months to see results. You're going to have to dose a lot more vinegar than vodka. Yes, you shouldn't need to change GFO anymore than once a month and depending on the quality of the GFO and the amount of phosphate you could probably get away with every couple months. I dip, then blast with a 3000 gph powerhead to try and get the eggs, but I've always been scared it wasn't enough. I'm sorry the clam died on you. I always try really hard to sell people stuff I know is healthy, so hopefully it didn't have something wrong with it when you got it. One thing I do know is that I could never keep shrimp with it. That clam must have tasted like candy to my shrimp because no matter what I did it wouldn't leave the clam alone.
