    2k clam

Finally, a high priced piece that I think is actually worth it.
  2. I have a 55g drum full of zero TDS RO/DI water. You're welcome to as much as you need. I also have 55 gallons of premixed saltwater. PM me if you need my address, I'll be home all night.
  3. This is pretty bad, but I've been using the same Instant Ocean Hydrometer that I've had since I got into the hobby 8 years ago. (laugh) I've tested it against multiple refractometers and it has always been correct, so I've never had a need to buy anything else. I'm a bad example though. Refractometers are definitely the way to go.
  4. The Ducati has traction control and ABS, which is great in the rain. Only time I won't ride is if there is snow/ice, but I know people that even ride in that!
  5. Haven't driven a car in over a year, and have no plan to in the future. I ride motorcycle 12 months a year. Here are my bikes:
  6. This is my tank until I have more time for the 240 gallon.
  7. Agreed. Details people, we need details! Someone call me when it's time for the torches and pitchforks.
  8. Thank you! Great job guys!

  11. Nice score, I've been eying that milli every time I go to Upscales, too bad I didn't have a tank to put it in (laugh)
  12. I've never had to resize a photo I upload to photobucket Oops didn't even see the date of the thread. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
  13. Boyd also says that you will never have to do another water change and your fish will magically live four times longer. I used Chemi-Pure Elite for years before I really got serious into reefing. I still had to do water changes and I noticed no increase in fish vitality. Chemi-Pure is basically just a low grade carbon and GFO mixed together along with a bit of DI resin that gets exhausted extremely quickly in saltwater. IME you would be much better off making your own "chemi-pure" by mixing a high grade carbon (rox) and GFO together in a bag. Even better keep them separate because the carbon gets exhausted more rapidly and should be replaced more often than the GFO. Anyway, this should be a cool tank and I'm looking forward to the build. 14. I've had terrible luck with clawed critters eating my coral. Cleaner shrimp have poked at my clam mantles, picked at my pink bird nest and eaten eagle eyes. Scarlet hermits have eaten GSP and blue hornets. Red tip hermits have eaten xenia and trumpet coral. So IME I would not buy the "100 small hermits" and go only with snails. If the sand bed is your problem look into Nassarius snails, they are carnivorous, but live in the sand bed.
  15. Interested in the Reef Keeper Elite. What all does it come with and how much do you want for it?

  21. I'm looking for 120/70 ZR17 and 190/50 ZR17 which is what I believe comes stock on that bike. What's the exact model of tire and could you post a picture, so I can see the wear? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
