Brad you have a black spot angle!!!! Want to pair her up??? I have a big female with streamers who is looking for a good home. I have to get her out of hypo first. Do you have a male too??? P.S. she is free for you I just want her to have a good home. EDIT: on closer inspection it looks like yours is already turning male, that is going to be one amazing fish when the stripes come in all the way.

I've never kept one, but I have seen many in reef tanks before. Not saying it should stay just saying I wouldn't be Upset with the LFS. Many wrasses that are "reef safe" also eat shrimp. Just my 2 cents.

I think this is a great price just looks like no one needs them at the moment. I think your smart not to seperate them; I'm sure some one will be totally stroked to get these.

I think it depends on your setup IE your stocking list, but sounds to me like you did the right thing.

It sounds like you are over feeding to me. I can testify that BTAs do not mind "dirty" water, however IME swings in water they do not appreciate. You might want to google silversides and nems as well, I have read that they can "spoil" and subsequently kill your nems. After reading that I stopped feeding silversides all together. As long as you have good lighting your nems should be fine being target fed brine shrimp. I also like to give mine spectrum pellets (the 1mm ones)

They are blind, that's why they hunt at night... If anyone goes missing I would blame him. I had a brackish tank years ago with a 2' snowflake mory (brackish one different from the ones we are used to seeing) He lived happily with a puffer who became a favorite of mine until one night the moray got him. :( If I were you I would get rid of him and get a pair of golden morays. I can remember the puffer swimming circles around the eel and I thought he would never be caught, i guess even the best of us are vulnerable while we are sleeping.

Did Brad post a pic too??? I'm confused??? P.S. that rainbow is something else!!!! I don't think any other coral can do rainbows like acans; some zoas come close but the true rainbow is all Acan.
