  1. yea the "MRA" zoa seems to get a silver to greenish rim not dark. That's about why we called them what we did. We've never found anything like them anywhere and so Eric sent it into Coralpedia and they researched it and asked us what to call them. It only seemed fitting to go with MRA out of respect for Mad Reefer...
  2. I have one that isn't confirmed as a tyree but for all visual purposes is identical. I've only sold one frag of it and it was maybe an inch give or take. I sold it for 50 I think. This was a while ago but it help ya for a starting point.
  3. My girlfriend used to work with a guy that was at ups for a while. He said his boss would be the one to push all the packages off the top roller to clear up any jams. He said the same thing about always having to hurry at any cost and they still wanted you to take care of it all with to few guys to get it done. My favorite one is the youtube video from a homes security cam that shows the ups guy stop at the road(about 40ft from the door), jump out of the truck, and huck the package at the house! LMAO!!!
  4. OH H3LL YA! lets hope that never happens though...
  5. Maintenance is key with vw's. If you do it right they are great running, long lasting cars. Do it wrong and you'll hate them forever! The VR6 is a great engine that they still use to this day. Corrados are one of my favorite cars of all time and the 93 was arguably the best year for them. The design still holds up to all the modern styling out there today. With all that being said, I still have no extra cash to get one...lol Good luck with the sale. Can ya tell I'm a fan of german engineering?:p
  6. If you can't find anyone (which you probably wont) they are about $12 at petco if lfs doesn't have em.
  7. Yea probably...lol I don't have my french doors put in yet though so I can't even get the stand in when its done. I also don't want to finish it and have it just sit in my garage and take up my parking spot either. I'm working on some stuff on it slowly but your probably right. I have so many little things to do on it though that I'm still making the small stuff happen at the moment.
  8. None yet. I'm working on the stand at the moment for him.
  9. Put a bristle worm in a clear tube trap with the sliding door. Bristles are like crack to the mels. Once he's in drop the door and you done. Very simple with the right type of trap. Very hard without. Goodluck...
  10. removing supports is a bad idea and could be non workable. If you have it filled with water their will be tremendous pressure on these supports. I don't know if you would get it out under that pressure, and if you did you are just making the weight of everything shift and that could cause problems in the long run too. Steel is the better way to go though I agree. I'm thinking of using 2" angled steel to build mine for even more added space inside.
  11. I wouldn't trust that for a heavy tank but cool looking stuff. Not a clue where to find it though...lol
  12. I use the random once you've set everything. this lets the lights switch happen within 15 minutes on either side to the time you actually set on there. gives just a bit of diversity in time...
  13. that is very similar to what I am going to do for mine...
  14. You'll need one like this to control both lights to be on at different times but still cross paths. I would keep the one you have and set it up for the Halides and moonlights then get a $5 one from Fred Meyer for the T-5's. I'm assuming you have this one...
  15. I would use a reeflo dart for the return pump with bean animal overflow setup in the overflows. Run the return lines back up the back of the tank and Y them off to have two lines in at the top rears and two at the top front. You can add seaswirls to them to add to the water motion if you want. Then run the mp40s in there(2 or 3) and you should have plenty of flow and turnover. The dart should have enough power to run a chiller and skimmer off of it too if you use 3 mp40s. That's how I would run it. - love the idea of a closed loop with an oceansmotion but to do it right it takes up way too much room under the tank to plumb it.
  16. If ricks doesn't work I have one with those exact dimensions. It's pretty much this minus the bioballs... http://www.fishtanksdirect.com/wetdryfilter100-125gallon24x12x16byeshopps.aspx
  17. Thanks (laugh)lol... that p-chop took me all of 5 minutes... I deserve it!!!(laugh)
  18. umm, no garlic if you do try to feed it. That will not be pretty...lol Torches are less reluctant to take food then most LPS but you can try to if you want. I wouldn't try to give it too much if it does take it though. They really rely on the light more then anything...
  19. This is the sand I have for the new one also. Have around 300# going in. Big tanks cost more money all around. Your better off getting a good RO/DI unit if you get a tank that big. Your talking 50g or so for a basic water change. With a fowlr tank you will be doing the changes more often I would think. Most likely you will also need to at least brace well under the house for that much weight, may need a small slab depending on the quality of the house' build and the location in the house.
  20. lol... WTG Debbie Downer! He's probably right though... sorry:p
