    wow

that's cool! Color loss may have been more due to being in the dark for that long more then anything. That may sound funny to some but I had a clown that went almost stark white every night. I found out when I turned the light on in the middle of the night once. I thought he was dying. He got his color hack after 20 minutes or so. I was sweating it though(scary)
  2. my first thought is that your ethernet port on the xbox could be faulty. It isn't that common but it is definitely possible. Have you tried to hook it up with a second ethernet and maybe closer to the modem? Generally you don't want to change two variables while trouble shooting but it shouldn't matter here. Get a second cable and try it in another room that that cable will reach from(assuming you don't have another huge one).
  3. Thought since I just listed these on craigslist maybe I'd do the same here and see if I got a bite. Notice the Craigslist style below...lol I have a set of four wheels that have been used for a little less then 2 weeks. They're in immaculate condition, a perfect 10 out of 10. The tires that were put on were to small for my liking so I took them off and never managed to get any put back on. They have been sitting padded and covered in my garage ever since just taking up space and it's time to let them go. These came off of my Audi TT and will fit anything that has a 5x100 bolt pattern (some if not all vw's, toyota's, scion's, subaru's, and even some gm products). I can get you pictures but they are going to look like this shot. Better if you come out and look when your ready to buy because they wont disappoint you. They have roughly a 3" lip to them also. I have audi center caps for them but they are easily switched to whatever you want to put in. If you are mounting them to an audi or a vw I also have some exact fit hubcentric rings that I'll give you also for a perfect fit... These were just under $900 new. $685 obo and thanks for looking
  4. For people who now very little about computers and just want it to do what you want it to do, Mac is the best by far. For everyone else it is arguably still the best...:p I own both but my mac has always been 100% reliable and well, even the best pc can't do that(whistle)
  5. Well get that tank a leakin" I want to see the coeds wet!(naughty)(rock2) (laugh):p(clap)
  6. so it looks like you should have pc2 ddr2 RAM in it. what you may want to do is open the case and look at the RAM sticks and see exactly what they say on them and how many there are. their are a few different formats. Sometimes you have to add 2 at a time sometimes just one. They'll look like this inside I would go along the lines of cleaning it first like reefit said though... That may be all it needs is just a clean sweep
  7. no you found it, system memory is the same thing...
  8. DOH!I was typing as you found it...lol Although 4 isn't a ton of memory it isn't that low either. Have you(do you know how to) ran a system de-frag ever/lately. If it's moving slow with 4gb then they may be lower speed too.
  9. going into the control panel and checking your system specs for what you already have would be a good start. That way we can help with offering advise on the amount of memory you should upgrade to to achieve your desired speed. Should be something along the lines of: start menu>control panel>system>system specifications... You'll want to look specifically at RAM.
  10. lol... sharks are good for something...
  11. this is the best security guard fish ever. If it's a pest he will hunt for it and eat it. Very active and friendly to most if not all other fish too... As long as these are available there is no need for a pesky 6line wrasse...
  12. got that in a text forward a while ago...lol
  13. (drooler)ohhhh(drooler). This has been a dream car of mine since I was 12. I just don't think I have enough corals to trade ya...(laugh) Bump for someone with more cash then me;)
  14. pm wannareef if your looking for it to be built. He does some nice work and has experience with larger tanks too. He built my 48x36x24 with just two sheets of acrylic. It's eurobraced and has a full external overflow box to boot!
  15. the way you could have better luck is if the coral banded is smaller then the other shrimp. This won't be a fail safe but you'll have a better chance. Coral banded just like their space from other shrimp....lol
  16. there is a guy in salem that fixes them and he is legit. 3 people I know went through him about a year and a half ago and they are all still working well. His name is ben but I can't find his card anywhere...

    starfish

I had to get rid of mine, he was just too big for the 75g. I never actually measured but I would venture to say around 20" maybe a little bigger. At that size i just started to worry about losing fish to him so I took him to seahorses refugium almost 2 years ago...
  18. put some very porous rock in there and they may climb into it for safety. then take the rock out. I really don't know a better way. hopefully someone else does...good luck
  19. I try to have a good mix of inverts that will all do something better then others... For hermits I would go with zebra, scarlet, red leg, or blue leg hermits. A mix is good too. I always like to have a few emerald crabs also. Maybe 4 to start in a tank that size and get more when it gets more established. Stay away from sally light foot crabs also. They can start small but once big, they will cause problems. The big turbos are a bad choice unless you just have a fish only or softy tank. they bulldoze everything that doesn't give a little. Nassarius, astraea, and margarita snails are all good choices... I used to have some baby abolone snails in my tank from the rock i bought but I think the wrasse got to them. They are nice but cost a lot more for some reason. Maybe a few shrimp also. Skunk cleaners or blood red shrimp for the fish, and peppermint shrimp for aptaisa watch. Maybe an urchine or two if you have a glass tank(they can scratch acrylic when eating). I would personally say away from the pincushions though as they tend to be kleptos with corals. When your tank is a little more established you can look into sand sifting stars, linka stars, and sea cucumbers too.
  20. yea yea yea, I've been working too much to do anything lately...
  21. that works for me:) as long as brad has the room for all of it...
  22. it is loud for sure. When frank got his it was nice and quiet, yours by comparison is much louder. It still works good, but it does have some noise to it...
  23. HEy could you just drop my stuff to brad with his stuff? I wont make the meeting and I have some stuff at brads anyway I need to get...
  24. im going with a dart on the 150 but I plan to plumb it to return in all 4 corners and it'll run the skimmer and maybe the refugium as well. One mp40 and it'll be good to go. Mine will be mostly sps also...
  25. go down to tap and get some. they sell it by the pound for the scrap and its cheap cheap cheap!
