With all the back and forth craziness that has been as of late. I felt like it was important to give this it's own thread so everyone can read and remember. I'm not gonna go and edit it at all from how it was in the Teco Group Buy Grow out thread so here it is. This was not directed at anyone so please don't take it that way. Their has just been a lot of talk on and off the forum and I'd like to give it a positive spin... Regardless of the problems and such that Eric has brought, I think it's worth noting that he arguably did more for this forum then any one other member ever has. Maybe some of you forgot that he is the one who got the GOC off the ground and spent his time and money to keep it going. This also brought in many members just to join in on those games. He rounded up prizes and worked as damage control between parties involved(few know of this). He also helped out a lot in these group buy grow outs too. If you'll notice their is a reason his name is on the first post. Some of the buys were through his connections that they were even possible. Let's not forget the "share the love" either. Moto may have done it first, but Eric took it to the whole next level. How much did he give away to try to promote the idea. Anyone who has won something through "share the love" has been directly effected in a positive way by Eric's good intentions in getting it going. I don't know if you could find one person on this forum that bought coral from him and didn't walk out with something extra(many times 4 or 5 extras). So I think he deserves the corals he paid for and much much much more. Matter of fact, the only thing he didn't deserve was how his punishment was handed to him. If you want to discuss that further PM me and I'll be glad to enlighten you. It's easy to forget the good and dwell on the bad. I know many of you see Eric in your own way and nothing will change that but lets give it a rest until you've done as much for this club as he has. If nobody decides they want them I may just grab them all...lol sending you the cash for the first two at least right now...

just thought I would share so all you guys/gals who have had and continue to have leak issues with RO's and sumps and so on could have an alarm for it now... I agree wholeheartedly with this. Most people are coming here to hopefully gain knowledge and meet others who share the same passion. If we try our best to stay on topic and truly be helpful to these people they may just stick around. Driving threads off in another direction(often negative) is only hurting this club. It's better for everyone to have more people here so trying to help newbees feel welcome is one of the most important parts.

yep, for what you are looking for, go to Dave's(barelycuda) and get them... Here are some that HaroldB got from Dave's clown house(thanks for letting me borrow the pic:p) And he has a ton more that he personally breeds so you know you'r getting a good healthy fish...

go to newegg.com and find some. They tell you all the ratings and you can find everything there. You may find you can have the best of both worlds for a price under what you'll pay for icecap or other brands fans... Yea, it's a computer store but the value/quality can't be beat. The sch 40 can be bought at lowes and sch 80 are really costly but can be ordered.

What is your issue with the flow? He has a basic list of what flow per the size you use. did you go by that. My other thought immediately was it may be better to either pump from both sides with either one pump Y'ed off or to separate ones. Flowing from one side may create an uneven growth over time and more then anything I just like symmetry I guess...lol If you do more searches you'll find many more of these and their are some pretty elaborate ones too so you may be able to get some ideas on how to improve upon what you have already...

Whistler is cheaper then most people think. I used to go boarding for a week at a time up there twice a year. once in summer and once in winter. I would be doing this over anything else personally...

and things that are small and white and look feathery can be nudi's so I would get to checking or post a pick since many can be bad. If it is in fact nudi's pick out as many as possible and get a melanarus wrasse to do the rest. It could just be pods too though, in which case they are a good thing...
