  1. heading up north i believe saturday to pick up a few frags. my tank is still young and bare. if anyone can spare any frags of anything at all. other than suncoralsDOH! i would really love to pick some up im going almost as far as portland and could probly go to portland.cheap is good. free is better. i dont have much so chances are if you have something you can frag even if its small or basic. it will help. i want to make the most out of this trip since gas prices are climbing. thanks shawn
  2. if you still have it all ill take it. but if most is allready spoken for than its a long journey
  3. pm sent last night (scary)
  4. if you have to run to wall mart throw them in a rubbermaid tote with filter. heater etc etc. bgas are not an option for long.
  5. heres a pic of one of the frags. it like 3 weeks ago. i was origonaly gonna bring them to full size and health and try to trade em off but i want tank space and its always cool to help others(clap)
  6. i bought a large sun coral a while back it was dying so i got a good deal. no surprise it was dying most people don't keep up on the maintenance. which honestly is easy. anyways after examining it it had evil tube snails that were killing it and 4 gorilla crabs eating it(scary). long story short i fragged it into 13 pieces. of those 13 12 made it. when i say nano i mean it. one of my grags has i polyp on it other have over 15. believe it or not i have found the sun coral to be a very fast growing coral and a couple of the frags have really started to take on new life. ive seen baby polyps pop up one night the size of a head on a pin. and i week later that same head will almost be the size of a pencil eraser. so you could get one that has like 3 little heads on it and in notime it could be tripple or more polyps on it. the key is feeding them i feed every night. dissolve brine shrimp cube and feed it wait till it opens and feed again. it may be to much fro some people but it is really worth it one you see them start to progress and the beautiful pinks and yellows. they need medium water flow. and light is not necessary they dont photosynthisis. im gonna keep prob 3 or so for myself. but i need to get rid of the rest there taking up room and 12 frags is a lot of mouths to feed every night. like i said they would be great for a nano tank. price is nothing. you can trade me a tiny frag of something. that would be cool. but if you don't have anything and want one its ok.there all fragged to rock not plugs.
  7. i got your message i think ill take 1 im not set up to with a doser right now. but it wont hurt to buy the kalk now and get setup soon
  8. heres a few quick pictures there kinda crappy pics. his color is amazing though!
  9. i know its not quite saltwater but i want him to go to a decent home and not a pet store or something. i have had this spotted green pufferfish for about 2 months. he has grown a bit since i aquired him, he is larger than most you see in pet stores. he is EXTREMELY healthy and well taken care of. he has a great personality always swimming around the tank all happy. he can be hand fed. his current diet consists of shrimp pellets blod worms live brine ghost shrimp and feeder snails. the snails are extremely important to the puffers diet. if he dosent get them his beak,or teeth can grow to large and he wont be able to eat and will die.i have him in a 20 gallon he needs 20 to 30 when he gets largeish. i currently have 5 tanks in my home and he is the only one in my 20 gallon, sadly i dont want him anymore.he is brakish water and i would say lowish maintnance and a fun fish to watch. i dont know if anyone wants him on this board, i know there not super expensive but he is really healthy full beutifull open tail fin. so price is free. let me know if anyone is interested. thanks
