my purple acan is turning luminescent green in areas. pretty cool. i was getting disappointed because it was dark dark purple when i got it, but this green that showed up should be interesting.

those solid orange ones are really cool.

just picked up this colony the othernight.the gold is really cool it more gold than yellow.

the 11th and 12th is a thursday and friday not a saturday and sunday. any weekday for me after 5 is good. any weekend anytime is good just need a little heads up. if its far enough out like september everyone should be able to request that part of whatever day of and come up with some money. i really like the frag colony bring something home idea but i wouldnt want to py more than 20 bucks. also it depends because some people attending have so many corals that everything we may be fragging they could already have then what. good ideas i like the way this is headed. if TEC would sell us colonys for the event that would be awsome i have heard nothing but wonderfull things about them especially after the cfm.

lol. i have the same problem i got my longspine when he was small tiny now hes huge big.i glue my frags with superglue and have lost 2-3 sps because i havent noticed they were in the sand till it was to late. everyday i have to pick up after him(wife).yeah superglue can be broken easy.good luck with finding him a new home, they are really cool and reef safe, ill need to do the same soon.

i took these at the tidepools last weekend its my understanding i can enter them for potm. correct me if im wrong.they would be things in my tank but im to poor to continue my colwater dreams at the moment(sad)

so i made a trip over to yaquina bay this weekend. its known to have the best of the 3 tidalzones for how easy it is to acess. its at yaquina bay lighthouse twords the end of newport. ive never been to tese tidepools before and i must say they are one worth visiting. i went about an hour before lowtide and hung out till it started comeing back in about 2 hours later. it costs 7 bucks to get in for the day but worth it.i had never seen urchins before or fish among other things(clap).gret place to tack the kids too.

i had tried the hold it with tweezers cut with razor blade then had a plug with glue close by ma bey my glue was to thick because they sucked down in and 2 mins later were encrusted under the glue(sad). i have another colony. but i would love to learn to frag zoos.

ok so i was thinking a great get together would be some kind of a frag party. not all of use now how to frag stuff(sad)i just killed 6 eagle eyes trying(sad). and it could be fun informative thing.ma bey each person who attends could bring a coral of theres tht they want to frag and the people who know more about frgging can help walk them through it. it would be a nice hands on learning experience. but we would need a location to do so. just an idea. im tossing it out there ma bey someone wants to add to the idea or help put it into action,ma bey the idea will get shot down. but hey its here now sooooooo........

this was a 3 polyp frag a moth or 2 ago(clap)not sure exactly what its called watermelon not sure on the id for this guy. slow grower sllllooooooowwwwwwwww ive had it for atlest 2-3 months started as 2 and im at 3(scratch). beautiful though

i frequent 3 stores in eugene,at one point or another each one has something stupidly high priced. and at another point each store can have a ridiculous deal of a life time its a toss up and you just have to keep your eyes open sometimes

found this in my tank i believe it to be a Pseudocorynactis not positive but pretty sure. mixed info on them some say they stay smaller thn a quarter some say they get up to 6 inches. some say theyle eat fish and inverts some sayotherwise. all i know is its amzing to look at i snapped a few macro shots ant the neon glowing green is so vibrant and crazy reminds me of the movie abyss lol
