  1. The tank originally was a display at either Waves or Upscales, maybe both, can't remember. Not the bent corners style of like a Tru Vu, it's better than that, but it is older. The stand is pretty ugly at this point but you probably could put a dance party on it, it's stoutly constructed. Here is a picture of the seams from a few years back, and a link to the listing I put for it a while ago. I didn't do a good job upselling it 🙂 It's a good tank though. https://www.pnwmas.org/forums/topic/51451-90-gallon-acrylic-tank-stand-and-sump-micro-sump-for-nano/#comment-490917
  2. I have my 90 up for $150 with stand and sump. Center overflow, front is not badly scratched but sides might be and you can have the wet sand scratch kit. It's a 4x2 footprint tank. Loved it but I had it and a bow front, bought a 125 and trying to cram everything into it so I can just have one tank. The 90 is empty and dry but not super clean and you probably will want to customize the plumbing (3 holes drilled inside the overflow to play with) There's also a fair amount of rock sitting in a tank of old saltwater you could have if you want it. I was cooking it but saw bristle worms and button polyps so I guess those things are immortal.
  3. Mine does, and I have sold some frags... I call it Supershag. I have seen it occasionally revert to the shorter form though. Mine has neon apple green on the base. Does yours?
  4. I have a 90 acrylic with stand and sump $100, it's got a 4x8 footprint. Though this sounds so smart maybe I should put it in my garage 🙂
  5. Portland water in much of the year is Bull Run water. This is good, though a bit heavily buffered, most of the year. Other times, I have lost a lot of fish to it and probably coral. Right now half my SPS is dying, and I have ruled out what I can leaving toxic water on the list pretty high. Freshwater shrimp stopped breeding too. The key thing is that whenever they feel the need the water dept people can and do with no notification drastically increase the amount of ammonia to stabilize the chorine. Sometimes they jack both. This is done after work on lines, such as repairs or flushing, but can be for non specified reasons. They do notify manufacturers dependent on RO units so they don't blow their membranes and or product, but not private people. If you call they will refuse to give more info than what I just said, then say you people are supposed to do testing for your animals. That is what they told me. I lost animals that are no longer available directly due to ammonia coming out of the tap turning the ammonia test kit too high to read. The other thing Portland does is when Bull Run is being for whatever reason not available ie runoff, sediment, work on the system, low water, fire debris running with the rain, animal waste containing who knows what, and pretty much the entirety of August in the past but now much of the summer-they switch to the well field which in my mind is the mine field. It's the water under the industrial area from the airport east along the river, below the slough. Land that in the past was so toxic that the US had actual motivation to look at legislation around dumping industrial waste into the groundwater a city depends on, course that isn't really all that popular these days. And who knows what is going into the water from the homeless camps, just glad our meth isn't made locally much anymore. The good water-Bull Run-that mostly will be when the weather is cooler than 85 from what they told me. The chloramine will be at the level our RO units are meant to handle at about 80 degrees or cooler. So, basically, yeah. Summer water in Portland is pretty bad. I am losing coral I have had since about 2004. I am not going to replace it. Finally got the tank I always wanted... probably going to end up with softies. Hopefully not FOWLR. Kate
  6. Hi, Sorry about the delay... got covid right after I posted, then been just tired from recovery. I still have plenty of them. Am usually available evenings, or Saturday or Sunday. Thanks, Kate
  7. I am kind of into the idea of regularly breeding but the market for azureus is pretty saturated so not sweating it. Mostly my nephew loves frogs and the color blue, and the two tadpoles morphed, they love that. If I can I will get giant cobalts though. I used to breed birds, killifish, and have freshwater sjrimp tanks, am wary of my tendency to overdo things. Your frogs are lovely!
  8. also if anyone is going to Seahorse this weekend and passing my way, they need them for their shrimp... make them happy and get these shrimp off my hands. Right now I have 378. By Saturday I should have at least 500 in jars. Maybe 600.
  9. Selling a 90 with center overflow. Front panel is mostly scratch free, sides I haven't cleaned but probably need some work. Hoping for $150. The stand is serviceable but cosmetically damaged. Ditto sump. SE Portland near 205 and Foster. Tank dimensions 48 wide, 24 front to back and 20 tall. Stand is also 48 wide and 24 front to back, height 35 7/8". The front panel of the sump doesn't actually fit because it's the same size as the opening and slightly swollen by moisture. Basically this looks like a garage tank 🙂 I have enjoyed it but got a 125 and am trying to downsize, will also be selling a bowfront as soon as I can clear the corals and rock from it. There also is a 4 bulb T5HO light free if someone is interested in working on it, I have only been able to get it to fire 2 bulbs and the tombstone sockets for bulbs are so sticky I am reluctant to test other bulbs on it. The micro sump I got as a curiosity and never used. It is 18 1/8" wide, 13 3/4" high and 7 15/16" front to back.
  10. I am interested in the yellow belly one
  11. I have a few jars of 100 asterina shrimp if anyone needs to feed a harlequin shrimp. Free of course 🙂 SE Portland near 205 and Foster. Will also be listing a few other things.
  12. ***EDIT PRICE ERROR*** I meant the offer on these was 25 shrimp for $40, they don't go less than a dollar each wholesale unless it's really cheap cherry shrimp with low color 🙂 I will honor the price listed for the two people who replied but future sales I can't go below this price of $40 for 25 shrimp***Original post follows... I have a lot of Neocaridina shrimp at $25 for 40 if anyone is interested. I kind of let my Bloody Mary line go unculled and they drifted darker than they should be, then tried to establish a very dark line so I have these guys that are in between the two. They are way nicer than pet store cherry shrimp and some stores still sell Bloody Mary shrimp that look like this but I won't. SE Portland near 205 and Foster. Also listing a 90, mini sump and a few other things in the regular classifieds.
  13. That is awesome! Do you keep others? I have a trio of tinctorius azureus and only 2 tadpoles so far but not super driven to get into breeding. I do kind of want giant cobalts though.
  14. Whoever gets this, I would love a frag at some point, or would buy it
  15. Thank you so much Chris and Javi! Hoping I got your names spelled right... always stoked to meet more plant and music people too!
  16. Photos of stuff… sorry my tanks are overgrown and these are shoddy ipad pics. I have too much orange ricordea, sinularia is shown both under T5HO and LED in 2 different tanks. All the anemones are splits of eachother but they look better under LED, more compact and bubbling. The acros will be better under LED in the new tank I think, there is a purple tip tabling one and a mostly brown one that can be very colorful. All duncans are from the same colony, lately the ones under LED are paler and shorter tentacles, not sure why. The green mushrooms are sunsets grown in deep shade, sometimes people love them and other years they are “common”. I think the frogspawn is probably what is most desirable. It is more orange with T5 and has a green tint around the mouth under LED, it wins either way. That last photo shows a purple hue on the frogspawn, that is an artifact of photography, sadly. Otherwise it looks right.
  17. Hi Bought a 125 like a year ago I think and finally got the stand refinished and my covid shots so it's time to move it into the basement from my garage. Is anyone available Monday Memorial Day at 1pm? I am near Foster and 205. It's the 6 foot version of the 125, and have some gear to move it with (stair climbing dolly, straps). I think I need 2 additional people. Letting the dolly owner advise, he's an engineer . But he hurt his back moving amps a few weeks ago so is strictly on spotting duty. Anyone available? I can frag off a big chunk of Duncan, a purple acro (not named), neon sinularia, RBTA, peach tip frogspawn, sunset mushrooms, not sure what people like these days, kinda out of the loop on things. Anyways, just thought I would try here before I try to rope in friends and family, who maybe think this hobby is already a bit ridiculous without dragging 6 foot tanks into basements. Thanks, Kate
  18. Can you tell me the outside dimensions of the sump? Also would like to know how wide the chambers are at either end to see if my skimmer would fit. thanks, Kate
  19. The seller found some guys so am good, thanks though!
  20. Hey, are there any guys I can hire to move a tank, stand and hood from Cornelius to SE Portland? Thought this would be easier... paying cash. Have access to appliance lifting straps.
  21. What days are you up this way? I am in SE Portland, could meet you in Tualatin
  22. Will they eat frozen asterinas? I could start freezing them and I know someone with a lot of them I can ask too, though usually I only see about a dozen as I tend to remove them. I think they ate a bunch of my coral so I got kinda harsh on them.
  23. I was just looking for a sump that size! Do you still have it?
  24. Hey Matteo, thanks! I am hopefully going to get this. Waiting til after the 100 degree days and I got sick. Tested negative for COVID, so it’s regular old sick, which I am not going to share 🙂 Kate
