Sad to here things like this happen. Hell they had the same thing happen to a couple in Portland here last week. Family went on vacation and there sons friend breaks in via the hide a key and they trash the place. And Doz I am not a teacher but have coached sports for almost 8 years. I know they are not all perfect but it does feel good if you can influence a couple. Hell the little houligans in my neighborhood well the one by me stole my kids bike a month ago. Got it back a few weeks ago trashed and missing half the stuff on it. Well it went mia again today hell they took it right out of my garage(flame) The bike was worthless has no brakes and is ready to fall apart.

Another vote for David(rock2)! I picked up his BTA from him for free. As of now it is hiding in the rocks and can barely see it.

Another vote for yes but I do know that most of the LFS have a list you can put your name on and what you are looking for. I used it once and when the fish came in they called me the same day it showed.

Sweet! It is nice to see something that is MIA show up all of a sudden.

No internal framing at all. What I did was made the top and bottom frames then kind of did a dado joint (not a wood worker so not sure) on the sides so they were supported on both the top and bottom. Then glued it all together and nailed it with a finish nailer. Only took about 3 hours to cut everything and get it together. And the tank is a 29 so bigger than yours. So far it has been holding just fine. Anyway like I said if you need any help just let me know.

You can get those at HD or Lowes. Mine came with an adapter to go directly inline with the cold water for the faucet.

His stuff is nice the Torch that he has a real bright color to it. I picked up nice rock with about 8 rics on it. Thanks again and hope everything sells for you.

Like Impur said I did it the same way. I only have about a 50 foot hose connected to mine so I can run it to the tank if I want. Also PMd you so let me know.

I built one for my sons 29 gallon. I just used some nice 3/4 inch birch that I picked up at Lowes. I think it turned out real good. I kind of built it like one I saw at a Petco or some place like that. Just remember if you are mating wood together use some Gorilla glue it is some real nice stuff and bonds great. Here is a pic you can sort of see it. If you need a hand let me know and am willing to help if I can.

I would like to know to what people think. I have seen a few of these in peoples set ups and am thinking of getting a few myself.

Well me and my son went to SWF toaday and picked up a new bulb for his tank. While there he saw some sexy shrimp and really wanted some so knowing he loves shrimp I got a few along with a few other things for Dads tank (you know how it is(laugh)) Anyway got them aclimated and went to put them by the anenome to see if they would like it. Well the diamond goby saw one and sucked it right up and swam around the tank with it sticking out of his mouthDOH! I was not happy to say the least. Next one went in fine but can not find it now so who knows maybe it survived maybe it became lunch not sure. So lesson learned do not get anything that will fit in the gobys mouth(flame)

I have about a 12x12 area or close to that. And height is about 20 inchs I think maybe more. I am just trying to fit everything into the stand including the bottle. I am sure I am going to have to stack a few things but that is ok as far as I am concerned. Am going to try and contact the guy one more time and see what is going on.

Ok thought I had scored one but who knows have not heard anything from him in a few days. So here is my question what are you guys and gals using and what would you recomend? Has to do about 100 gallons and not much bigger. I do not have a lot of room in my stand so the smaller the footprint the better. Any info appreciated(rock2) Thanks,Scott

Thanks for the offer but I have no room in my garage for another. We have talked about one but the room is just not there.

Went over to his house a few days ago and what a nice set up. As for the firefish babies they are real small. The clowns are bigger at the same age. He still has a ways to go to get everything on the same sump and water system but once it is all done it will be nice.

My wife says there is to much stuff in there(wife) We need the room for our own food.

I have the same one and am in Vancouver. All depends on where you are I can swing buy and we can check the water. Just let me know.

No problem the only thing about the glass I got was the thickness was only 1/8 th inch. They do sell thicker but it costs more. But for baffles it should be fine. Good luck with the project.

FYI Parkrose Hardware has glass and you pay for the sheet and they will cut it as much as you want. When I buikt the overflow for my sons tank I think I paid a total of 8 dollars for the glass. They cut it into 6 or 7 pcs for me. And the sizes they sell range from 12"x 24" to 36"x 48" so there are a bunch of options. Not sure what you are paying at the local glass shops so figured I would throw it out there.

Would liked to have gone but ended up working on tanks today and cleaning. Then went LFS hopping and ended up with a nice little Oregon Tort frag and a few others. My son was real happy he finally got a purple fire fish from Waves. Glad to see most everyone ended up with something and were happy they went. Maybe next year if it happens again.

How did the frag die? I know things have looked bad but it should not have gone south that fast. Did all the water go out of the bag? You did not have to drive for hours did you(scratch)
