  1. Ok lets end the drama! I have bought stuff from Curtis and his livestock is great never had a problem. As for Cobalt have not bought anything but I would at least let the clams aclimate to the tank for a while then post up. How long did you aclimate the clams? I have always done mine for a good few hours before tossing them into the tank. Also not saying who is right or wrong just lets do this through pms or ? Also by the pics posted by Cobalt the clams look good. Just my 2 cents(whistle)
  2. Showed up a half hour into it so was a little lateDOH! But there was a good turnout. Not sure if that was for all the frags being sold or ? But was good to meet a few new people and also say hi to other ones(rock2)

    The Cube!

Tank looks great a whole lot better than when you bought it. Figure out the light yet? Also what is the light in there? Someone might have an extra lying around that could help you out.
  4. Reef Fishers idea is a great one in the sump but have seen it done this way and like it better. Just like RF said but no sump. Anyway get a small container and put a bunch of holes in it or get a container already with holes like a strawberry container you get at the store. Put a bunch of rubble in it aong with the frags and cover it and put it in you main system tank. It works great for mushrooms to. This way if you do not have a light in your sump you are good to go. Hope this helps and hope you get some frags!
  5. Glad it all worked out for you and glad to see the coral is doing great. Only thing my 90 looks really bare now only kept 3 pcs of rock from what you saw. You were the first one here to.
  6. The PC epoxy (green on the outside and whit in the middle) will work in the tank just fine. I have used it to glue frags, rocks and all sorts of stuff down with no ill effects. As for who is on the board and gone who cares there is no drama to be had.
  7. Well looks like it is working good. Now let see some pics of the tank(whistle) How are the tangs doing? I am sure they enjoy a bigger tank(laugh)
  8. I really like the Tunze to but my mount broke on mine have to get a new one. I have a few MJs but have not modded any of them yet.
  9. I dont know about that have you had a Diamond Goby yet(laugh) I think there is a CAT emblem on the side of mine(whistle)
  10. I am hitting the meeting but will be leaving at 3 to get home in time(laugh) Patrick has a TV there but not sure what he gets fro channels. GO PACKERS!!!
  11. I have used the Joes juice and it worked for me. But I do like the lemonm juice idea. Let us know how it works and if it affects anything else.
  12. I have had sand sifting stars in both my 90 and my sons 29 and never had a problem with either one. Not sure how deep you sand is but my sons was about 4 inchs and there were nesarius snails and a star in there for over 6 months and no problems. My 90 has a star many nesarius a couple of conches a tiger cucumber and a few other critters that are supposed to clean the bed. Both tanks looked great. Dsoz how many fish were in the tank? I know I had a few so fed the tank pretty good.
  13. Ok I forgot have had many people ask about many thingsDOH! He was gone but they backed out so on the market again. But now will have a new home in your tank. Sent you a PM so let me know what works. Scott
  14. Yes he is reef safe he just sits on the bottom and moves sand around. He also eats mysis shrimp and whatever else you feed. Will pm you a number.
  15. About 2 1/2 inchs long. Maybe a little smaller. But he has a big mouth for lots of sand(laugh) Oh also will deliver in the metro area sorry bout that. Had someone ask me from out of town.
  16. Well tank is spoken for and going south as soon as I can get another one up and running. As for the livestock everything is gone that I am getting rid of. Even got rid of all the rock to. Will have some sand left out of it but that is it.
  17. Anyone need a sand sifter? If so here is your fish it is the last one left from my sons 29 and need to get him into a new tank. 10 dollars picked up or can be delivered for 15. Let me know if interested. Thanks!

    12G Nano

Well took my sons 29 down and got a all in one tank. These things are great for kids rooms as there is not a whole lot they can do to them. I was always worried one of the kids would drop something into the open top of the 29DOH! Well started with about 10lbs of live sand then added 10 to 12 lbs of live rock to. Just took some water out of my 90 and added it to it so there would be no cycle. Ended up putting his fire shrimp and sexy shrimp out his 29 in there. Hit SWF on sat and found a antenna goby that he really liked. Then sat we were cleaning his old sump and found a Randalls goby that had been missing for a few months(scratch) Well it survived so in the tank it went. Then today got a Hectors goby to round out the fish population of the tank. As for corals not really a whole lot have a frag of a torch and a hammer and some zenia weed in there along with some zoos and a feather duster thahe really liked. Also have a plate coral that was the first purchase when the 29 was origianly set up. So far so good and hopefully things keep going good. Am going to put a fuge in one of the chambers but other than that I think this is about finished. Time to sit back and enjoy(laugh) Here are a few bad oics and then the camera diedDOH!
  19. Ok so was looking around and its a randals goby here is a link. http://www.marinedepotlive.com/orange-stripe-prawn-goby---amblyeleotris-randalli-fish--gobies.html How I got twein spot out of that who knowsDOH! My son has been calling it that since we picked it up at the lfs. And here is a pic of the antenna goby http://www.marinedepotlive.com/hi-fin-red-banded-goby---stonogobiops-xanthorhinica-fish--gobies.html
  20. Neither one of those. Will try and get a pic when I shoot some of the tank. Have to do it before Impur gets to impatiant(laugh)
  21. Well this one is about a inch and a half long and has a big winged fin on him. Was sold to us a twin spot but who knows. Also has orange stripes on him.
  22. This one does not clean much sand. The diamond goby that did not go in the nano cleanded sand like no tom. He is now in my 90 making a big cloud(laugh) This one just made a small little burrow and hid most of the time. Need to find a nice little pistol shrimp for him now. And if you saw the bottom of the sump when I pulled it out(puke) Thing was grose. I am just glad it survived.
