  1. It looks like I've found homes for the anemones so now it's time to list my other fish and corals that need a new tank. I'm thinking that if there is enough interest in them, I would try to hold an open house type of thing on Saturday for a few hours when everything could be picked up. This is mainly for fish since I will have to get all the rock out to catch them but corals could be picked up then also. All the fish are eating well on New Life Spectrum pellets and LRS frozen. Fish: Indo Pacific Regal Angel - $100.00 Pending Wantanabei Angel female - $100.00 Pending Timor Wrasse - $40.00 Square Tail Brtistletooth Tang - $40.00 pending jtarmitage Cherub or Pygmy Angelfish - $25.00 Aptasia Eating File Fish - $25.00 Coral: Goiniopora, hardy, large. This is hosting a really ugly A. nigripes clownfish that must go with the coral. - $80.00 SOLD Blue Acro Colony - $60.00 SOLD Large Hammer colony 30+ heads - $80.00 Red Planet or Tierra Del Fuego mini colony - $40.00 SOLD Thick Miyagi Tort colony that needs fragging due to branch die off. $40.00 SOLD (3) Tyree Neon Green Toadstools Large - $20.00 each Green Mushroom Rock 20+ shrooms - $20.00 Light Purple Mushroom Rock - $20.00 Darker Purple Mushroom Rock $20.00 Pink and green Hammer coral 5 heads - $20.00 Large skinny branching green/brown Acro - $40.00 Zoanthid Rocks - $20.00 each All zoanthids are the same variety which I don't know what they are. All the mushroom rocks will have a ton of zoanthids on them also. I'm sure there are smaller toadstools, mushrooms and zoanthid and green paly rocks that will be given away for free if wanted. Again, please PM with want you want and I'll put pending with your name on it in the Post. Also, PM me with any questions or additional picture requests. Thanks again for looking.
  2. 8/1 UPDATE: New items added. See post #7 below. After months of agonizing over this, I've finally decided to take a break from this wonderful hobby that I have been a part of for over 25 years. I have several hard to find healthy animals that I would love to see go to a well established reef tank. I'm going to start with listing my 12+ year old purple foot magnifica anemone that also has to be taken with a trio of clownfish that has been residing in the anemone. The female clown is an orange ocellaris, the male is a black and white ocellaris and the juvenile that hangs out with them is an almost black percula. The two adults have been laying eggs every two weeks for over 10 years. This anemone is attached to a pretty big flat piece of live rock that also contains two RBTA's as well as many zoanthids. If I can't remove the magnifica, the whole rock will need to be taken. This anemone has been kept under almost every type of light over the years including metal halide, T5, LED's and is currently under a LED/T5 hybrid. This is a very nice healthy anemone that is hard to find in this condition and it must sell first before I start removing all my other livestock. I'm asking $300.00 for the anemone, clowns, 2 rbta's and the rock. If interested, please PM with a little information about your current setup. I might be a little negotiable on price if it goes to the right tank. SOLD Once the magnifica has a new home, I also have a blue gigantea and a purple/tan/multicolored gigantea for sale. The multi colored gig is around 5 years old and is hosting a female Solomon Island Percula and a male black ice ocellaris clown. These two have been laying eggs for the last three years. I would like these to stay with the anemone. The blue gig is 3 years old and is not hosting anything at the moment although the trio of clowns in the magnifica hang out in it quite a bit. Again, these are hard to find in good healthy condition and I'm asking $200.00 for each of them. Both the gigs are currently attached to decent sized pieces of live rock and will be sold with the rock. I do not want to damage their foot by removing them. BOTH SOLD Please PM for further information if you are interested. I will have many more items for sale including additional corals and some nice fish if these find new homes. Thanks for looking
  3. I'm in Oregon City. Please send PM for fastest reply. Thanks.
  4. Probably 50 pounds of dry rock that was originally a mix of pukani, Carib Sea, and some Marshall Island and possibly some Fiji. It’s been sitting outside under cover for a while and will obviously have to be cleaned before use. Also a large mesh bag of bio balls that were used in my pond. Free - first show up gets it. I won’t hold it unless you’re coming out the same day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I've had a tank for so long I can't even remember the last time I took a break from the hobby. We are currently remodeling our home and soon will come time to do something about the room that the tank is currently set up in. I'm either going to have to to temporarily house my livestock while the room is being worked on and then set up in generally the same place, or sell everything and take a break for a while. The idea of not having a tank is very appealing especially since our kids are now both grown and we plan to travel more but I'm very attached to a few things in the tank. I have a 13 year old Magnifica anemone that is hosting a breeding pair of clowns for almost that entire time. These animals have been through all the up and downs that the tank has been through throughout the years. I also have another healthy Magnifica as well as two Giganteas that I know will be very hard to replace if I want to get back in sometime. I guess I'm just looking for a little advice one way or another from other reefers that have had to make the same decision.
  6. I bought a 30" heavy blue bar a few years ago for supplemental lighting. It seems to work well. I'm not using it now but I never had any problems with it. I also bought a 10" planted tank bar from them for my daughter. A couple of diodes went out shortly after receiving it and they quickly sent out a replacement light with only a single email sent to them.
  7. I am. I sent you a text yesterday to the number you gave me in your PM. Let me know if you didn't get it.
  8. My wife doesn't mind the tank and compliments it once in a while but she really has zero interest in it which is actually okay with me.
  9. How's everything doing? I'm betting that it won't hurt anything.
  10. I should be home a little later in the day on Saturday. I'll have a better idea of when I'll be home a little later tomorrow.
  11. Something like this? Barely used and retired it when I got a great deal on a GHL doser 2. Seems to work fine. How’s $40.00 sound. Right here in the OC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Anyone is welcome to some. I have a ton of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don’t know what these are but I started with one polyp and now I have thousands. You’re welcome to some at no charge. Under Radion AB+ program with T5 supplementation Under Radion 10k setting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Those Marine Pure blocks really work well for nitrates. I only have one in my 130 gallon system and I actually have to dose nitrates or else my sps turn pale.
  15. Thank you. I was affected by that also but my apex never froze, I was just locked out of fusion for a while. This sounds like it might be an ongoing issue for me.
  16. I have an older Apex lite with a single eb8. Last night I got a text message that the Apex was disconnected from Fusion which is not rare because of my bad internet service, plus my return pump which is plugged into the apex was running so I really didn't give it a second thought. Fast forward to today and I continued to get an alert that it was disconnected from fusion so I went to investigate. The display was on and looked like it always does and the temperature and ph were normal but when I went to get into the menu, none of the buttons would work. I unplugged the unit and when it powered back up, everything worked and the display indicated that it had dropped to 71.5. Evidently the only outlets that were working were the return and skimmer which were programmed to fallback to on. Has this ever happened to anybody else? I have had this for several years and this has never happened before. Could it possibly indicate that the "brain" is failing? Thanks for any help and advice.
  17. That's awesome. I have the same exact setup in 24" that I would love to mod but I'm not sure I feel comfortable doing it. What lighting schedule do you run on your Radions and at what intensity?
  18. Sorry, the two small acrylic aquariums on top in the picture are no longer available.
  19. There are 2 ten gallon, 2 twenty longs, 1 30 gallon and the 20 tall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have several different sized glass aquariums with screen tops that’s were used as reptile enclosures. These were used to house corn snakes but they may hold water although no guarantees. They need a little cleaning but not bad for free. There is one 20 gallon tall that was used as a freshwater tank and has a top with fluorescent light. PM for interest. Located near Oregon City. 21. @ Zoolander Sending you a PM
  22. I already have some bulbs in there, currently 2 blue plus, one coral plus and one purple plus. I also have another blue plus so I've tried different combos with the five bulbs that I have. I'm just looking to see what another coral plus or maybe an actinic would add. I'm not crazy about the purple plus and 3 blue plus is a little too blue although I could always add a little more white with the Radion. My tank is actually 36" wide so I ordered that 24" endcaps and have the Radions mounted perpendicular to the T5's. This gives very good coverage to my tank but a shield would help when you look at the light.
