  1. Jose, I will take the BRS filter. Will send PM
  2. Very cool! I think they are a very neat addition to a saltwater tank. I am going to move mine back to saltwater now that I brought them in for the winter. My plan is to keep them next to my tank on the cabinet I have there, as water in the base evaporates I will replace it with tank water. I'm thinking a week or 2 of that should be sufficient to acclimate them back. I think I will need to break the vase, they are root bound but I don't want to lose those roots! They will go in my sump where I added rock a long time ago just for this purpose, I will be able to "root" them in the rocks so they should grab hold quickly and continue to grow. Now if I can get branches, they will be added to the display and I hope grow into an almost shrub out of the top of my tank. We will see, they grow very slow. TLDR: hell yeah I love mangroves!
  3. Just wanted to post an update and bump this up! My mangroves spent all summer outside and seemed to love it! Anyone else keeping them?
  4. Unfortunately for pest control most of the melenarus type wrasse are hit or miss with inverts. I have a yellow corris that will pick at and kill any clam I try to put in the tank but never bother my hermits or shrimp. Snails are his favorite though, I have a few large old snails left, they must be the wise ones lol. Mine also sleeps in the sand, and like mentioned, makes a mess with the digging. They are great pest eaters though and most are very pretty.
  5. The scooped ends on the claws shoul indicate it's an algae eater but who knows. Here's a place to try http://chucksaddiction.thefishestate.net/hitchcrabs.html
  6. Leave him be, they need some shade and peace to recoup. He will crawl where he wants anyway, moving anemone's is pointless.
  7. My guess would be flat worm.
  8. These have always been popular http://www.nimblenano.com/Purchase.html I can't speak on how they work though.
  9. If you can, get a strainer or one of those black aquaponics pots. Add some rock rubble or a piece of rock and then him, see if you can get him to settle that way. Once he's attached and more stable you can try to place him again. In my opinion a lot of nems are lost in the beginning because they are free floating and we keep trying to put them back. Touching and messing with them as well as coming into contact with corals and rocks can damage them to the point of decline. Good luck.
  10. Does it have it's foot set yet? If it doesn't, it may no eat or may regurgitate it. It's always been recommended to me to not feed nems until they are settled. Sebae's are also notoriously difficult to get settled unless the tank is very established. Good luck with it.
  11. I believe this is the same brand I ordered for my old Mp10 https://www.amazon.com/PK-Power-Adaptor-SoundBar-ABT-2454-Aquarium/dp/B01IHHN7V6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472660639&sr=8-1&keywords=mp40+power+supply
  12. Hello everyone, I figured I would see if anyone here could use this. Our daughter is finally potty trained and now it's time for this to go! Both are in decent shape but are used. No mattress but we are including the bed rails to turn this into a first bed, they are still in the box. Changing table has 3 drawers as well as 3 shelves on the back side of it. The front of the crib will also come off to turn it into a day bed and then on to a full bed with the rails. We are asking $150 for all OBO. Below are a few pics, one shows where one of the drawer fronts is cracked. I never tried to fix it but i think it would be pretty easy. It is currently apart except the changing table but it's not huge. Thanks.
  13. I don't know a thing about structure but I know I prefer black. It looks better and adds demension. Clear turns color over time in my experience but maybe it was just cheap silicone, I don't know?

    Score!

So far so good, it has deflated and gaped a bit from time to time but this is it today: Not bad but his foot is still only lightly attached. Where he's sitting, the sand is about 3" deep so it should be perfect.
  15. Probably new buds or stalks, leathers are very tough, i never worry about mine unless I start to be able to see their interior structure.

    Score!

No spots so most likely a Haddoni, he's a little rough and still settling in but I figure for the price it's worth the risk.
  17. I had to go into our local Petco last night to grab some stuff, and saw this guy as I cruised past the saltwater section. I could see his mouth and it looked great, no gaping. Plus, it was just resting against the glass so I figured why not, at least they won't rip it's foot. The best part was, after a coupon, it was like $25! Color is fantastic as well! I kinda feel like I saved it from wasting away there, I hope it can thrive in my tank.
  18. I used to use that setup before I got my Apex, it worked great. Just wire the plug in and set it and forget it. Those Ranco's are very accurate in my experience. I currently use my Apex with an Eheim heater. I have heard a lot of talk about people running two smaller heaters instead of one large in case of failure. I have thought about trying that. Anyone use that method?
  19. Lowered price a bit to $720 for local. Thanks.
  20. Lowering price a bit $330 local/ $350 shipped!
  21. No display, sorry forgot that part.
  22. I have a full Apex I would like to sell, comes with Ph, Orp, and temp probes, Eb8, head unit, and probe holder. $330 local/$350 shipped. No trades, thanks.
