Hello PNWMAS, long time no talk. I hope all are well and tanks and critters are doing good, mine have grown and grown and I think I might need a larger tank! All mine are softies but the idea of keeping them whole with more room to grow, sounds better than chopping them up! So my question, anyone want to trade tanks? Mine is a 50g Cadlites artisan cube with white stand and trigger systems cube sump! I would want to keep everything except the tank, stand, and sump. Possibly the return also depending on size. Ideally I would like a 75 or 90 with stand and sump but am open to offers and larger, maybe. I don't have any interest in selling my tank but would love to find a trade! Anyone have something sitting around collecting dust? Maybe always wanted a cube? Let me know, and thanks for looking! I added a pic to get an idea, they still have some room but starting the hunt early.

I finally moved my mangroves but instead of into my tank, I set up a small freshwater tank for them. I'm hoping to turn this into a planted mixed tank and add a few shrimp down the road. Wesley is very fond of it also.

I didn't even notice the hairy body until I was able to zoom in just now on my PC, I thought those strings were from the pissed shroom because I was looking on my phone. I would agree with Eunicid worm after noticing that. I wish I could find one of these in my tank, lol I would love to have one in my sump.

Just out of curiosity, google "Peanut Worm" I'm not saying Chewie is wrong, it just has characteristics of a peanut worm and they are harmless.

Anyone need this flex pipe? $25 and it's all yours!

It's a type of algae that's very common on that rock. Someone will know the name, I can't think of it right now.

So I'm starting the process of digging out for the winter and realized...I have a ton of fish stuff again. Always the way though. Lol First up is 2 pieces of Marco rock, about 9 pounds each. Sold 50' roll of white, 3/4" flexible pvc. Not sure what to ask? $25 Rimless glass sump made by Cadlites Sold I will also have a Reef Octopus Classic 150-s skimmer for sale soon. I need to pull it out and clean it up. I love this skimmer but it just doesn't fit right in my sump, never has. I believe I will ask $150 for that with all original packaging. As I find more, I will add it and feel free to PM me with any questions. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words! I had to upgrade my mangrove "pot" since the kitchen window is now too small, I figured why not a shrimp tank. I will add some shrimp soon but am waiting for the tank to mature more. It's cycled and has 2 Rasboro's to help feed the plants plus add some movement but I've heard mature tanks are better for shrimp.

I am in need of a small inexpensive ATO option for a little mangrove planted tank I started, and I wanted to check locally first! I have all the parts of a tunze ATO except the brain so that's an option also if someone has one sitting. I don't want a gravity fed on this tank, our cat likes this tank way to much! Thanks for any help! I attached a photo to try out the new feature plus everyone likes pictures!

I will be pulling some Chaeto today, I'm in the Orchards area of Vancouver if anyone needs some I can put some in a bag for you.

In my opinion, once you put an anemone in your tank you should leave it be. They have the ability to move and will do so until they are happy, they don't care much what's in the way lol In my experience anemone health is more about stability than anything else. If your tank is fairly new, you should probably prepare for it to move quite a lot. You might get lucky, but in most cases new tanks are irritating for anemone's and they won't settle for a while. That doesn't mean it will die or you should remove it, just that you will have to accommodate it's moving until stability and it's spot are found. You can try the above mentioned options or move the entire rock that it's on but don't try and remove the foot unless it's on the glass, then it's fairly easy. Ultimately though, anemone's are kinda pain in a mixed reef, I have 5 now from splits and they tend to stick together but my tank is a few years old. Mine still move down into the rock and suck themselves closed, just generally do weird stuff. Good luck nice looking anemone.

I also have a BRS unit that has been great! I bought this one: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-6-stage-universal-water-saver-plus-ro-di-system-150gpd.html I've used their small systems also and they are fine too. The filters themselves are the most important, the outer shells are pretty universal. BRS has quality filters at good prices.

I've never found them to make much difference, water changes and controlled feeding works well. A good cleaner crew is also a great help. Your flame is doing great by the way, enjoying the company of his new lady friend!

Sorry I didn't see this, I do have more that needs to be trimmed. If if anyone needs any Cheato today or tomorrow I will be pulling a bunch.

Could it have also been on the rock from previous and was missed when it was hard and dry? Or from an old clam?

If you do decide to re-home them, I would be interested, I miss the pair I had and would love to have another. Mine used to spawn in my tank, super cool shrimp!
