Looking back, do you think you noticed anything that might be a warning the seam is about fail? My tank is 12" longer and rimless... I'm a bit stressed out! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Was battling dinoflagellates algae for months... Then it started to cleared up, but a week later it came back in full force. I decided to setup my spare frag tank to move all the frags off the sandbed so I can stir it up daily. Got the frag tank setup and now the dino are fading again. Guess that frag tank might become a seahorse tank in the future. Lost several sps frags in the process. ???? Dimmed the LEDs, fed less, and dosed H2O2 have probably starved and stressed my corals too much. Sps lost a lot of their fluorescent pigments. Sandbed is as white as it ever been since it was originally added. Gonioporas are showing more PE. Hopefully the dino plague is over and just waiting for the sps to color back up again. Nice work on the sump, very professional looking! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Interesting... Please be careful if you're attempting this. If I remember correctly, heated pvc to vaporize is very toxic. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

How did your Dino battle go? Did you ended up using hydrogen peroxide? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

WTB OCEAN REVIVE OR REEF BREEDERS LED FIXTURE
danlu_gt replied to SALTY's topic in Want to Buy / Trade
I've already registered a domain, ReeFi-Lab.com. I think there are groups of people/company that buy a bunch of domain with common words then try to sell them for a bunch of $$$. ReeFi.com is available but for $1795! haha You are right, I should just create a simple single page and link to paypal. I'll do that this weekend. Was trying to off load some work so I can spend more time design new products. The developer is working on backend database to MySQL for me so I would be able to add more products in the future and other backend support features. -

Want to try my ReeFi pendant style LEDs? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk -
I got grow led off eBay. They had pics of growing weeds so I figure it must be good! ;-) I wasn't sure how much light is needed so I got 2 30watts version but now I run about 13watts to each side. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

It's very basic. I got acrylic sheets cut to size from Tap Plastics to make a box. Got drill bits from home depot to make slightly smaller than 3/4 pvc. Then got a pipe thread tap for 3/4" from eBay. Some custom 3D printed parts for screen holder and shades to block light at the very top of the screen. Here more pics: Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Here's latest update pics.. My new baby purple tang, powder blue, and Achilles are settling in pretty well. Achilles was the last addition and was getting harassed mainly by the PB. Now they seem to get along better. Achilles was a bit of picky eater, now started to have more appetite. Been feeding 4-5x daily to get him to eat enough, will need to feed less before algae takes over. I've got the algae scrubber back online only a week ago, so hopefully that'll take care of excess waste soon. Now got my dream tangs but always tempted to add another. ;-) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
