Just happened to have my hands in the sump today and stuck my finger in the bottom of the emergency overflow pipe. Guess what? It was completely clogged. hadn't even thought of checking it periodically since it doesn't get used. If you haven't checked your emergency pipe, you might want to double check it.

Thought mine was dead. Maybe not. No polyp extension.
