badxgillen
So I know there was a lot of photos taken during our little reef tour and I was hoping we could collaborate in getting some of those killer photos we took during this epic journey. I would love to get some of those group photos that were taken at the shops as well, lets see em, post em up folks. Oh, and a big Thanks to the sponsors, Office\board of directors, and PNWMAS Members who made this an awesome day. And here it is, the pictures you all wanted from the party bus!!! Aaaallllllll Aboard!!!
badxgillen
Although the bus still had seats available the fine crew we had was more than enough to make for a wild reefing party. I made sure to bring my canned foods for the food bins, fruit, vegables, and soup is what I am throwing in the bins, wish I could donate corals but that is another subject. Can't forget the frags and coolers, there will be corals, Oh yes, there will be corals. Here is the driver, very cool guy, by the time we got to Ocean In A Box we almost got him thinking about a reef tank for himself. Every girls crazy about a sharp dressed man.
badxgillen
We all started at Upscales and as Emerald mentioned there was generous discounts, helpful staff, and Donuts! Yes Donuts. Troy was even there for the party, wish I got to chat with you man but things got a little hectic for a bit, Thanks a bunch for the help Mike, you know your acros for sure. Met up with Jeremy, very nice guy, can't wait to trade some zoas man. Travis running a busy day at the Upscales, I never knew he did the coral Tango? LCScott, Good to see you as always my friend and thanks a bunch for the frags, I get to mark one off of my most wanted list.

badxgillen
I am glad Flashyfins made an appearance on the bus, she loves her wrasses thats for sure. Karen! Next time we meet up I should have some nice corals for you, I hope you can make room. I will post much more back here but for now I am going to read Gil&fins party bus thread then acclimate some corals.
Emerald525
Thanks for the pictures Robert! I didn't take many as I was busy trying to keep us on time! Here's a picture of the sharp dressed man who drove is around! http://rs991.pbsrc.com/albums/af36/Emerald525/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps9fq5u89u.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip
badxgillen
Stop number two was Golden Basket with our fine host Rudy. And Mattv. There was a raffle for gift certificates as well as a game of "Wheres Waldo" with coral. That was much more difficult than you would think. A picture of each of the corals was placed on a screen at the end of the room and then we were instructed that whomever found said coral would win it as a prize for doing so. Kim and Holly won this eagle eye contest taking home the prize acros. But thats OK, as you can see there was plenty to choose from still. Everyone was having a good time, its good there was only 45 minutes or else some of use would have spent a little more.
badxgillen
Back on the bus! Hey, here is Salty Pickle and Matt, good meeting you salty, and Matt let me know next time you are coming through the area and we might be able to touch bases again. There was also a number of adult beverages at certain intervals with gummi bears, jello, hops, and mash being ingrediants to some of the refreshments...Good times. And apparently Bill here has the moves that can make the girls go wild. It was crazy up in here! A colorfully lit atmosphere with our own music and crew was awesome, we didn't make use of the fog machine though....What a shame. We could have just come struttin out of the bus doors with lasers and fog rolling out behind us, the way the PNWMAS should roll.
badxgillen
On to Cuttlefish and Corals, it was busy before wee got there, good for you Jeff. Packin those customers in and slingin the corals out. Cuttin something for the road here, hes gotta move on the fly here when so many people are wanting a piece of this and that. Thanks a bunch Jeff. As usual things are looking spot on, nice colors up in there my friend. Oh and can't forget about meeting up with spectra, good seeing you man, even if it was only for a few moments. Go Joe! So many nice fish too, I missed out on some great conversations and beautiful inverts. I get that tunnel vision when the coral is around.
badxgillen
At Ocean In The Box there was a cameo by Jack, goof luck with your move, hope all goes well. The front of OIAB is full of dried goods and test kits. The back however was a whole different story. MadMikes tank is now a 12 foot long frag tank with things starting at $1 and going on up. There was a whole cove of LPS and crazy shrooms\ricordeas. Wow, What a day!
Flashy Fins
Fun hanging out, guys! I took a few pictures on the bus, where the party lights added some unexpected elements to some of our faces. Holly got the party light confetti booger! Or should we call it the light saber booger? I fared better with an atomic green tear. Guess it's to be expected with my hair color! Tiny glowing hair clips for Andy! When Bill laughs, red confetti falls out of his mouth!

badxgillen
You captured some fun moments there for sure. Glad you made the trip out with us and bringing the camera, not often I am found in the pictures, and with a smile too. Actually it was smiles all around the whole day, infact I have a small video of some Emerald Karaoke that brought the cheery atmosphere to a peak but I am sure she would not want her mad singing skills made public...The fame it brings is a heavy weight to bear. Have to post a pic of my spoils, or at least the bags in bags in boxes. I will get to some coral shots soon enough, it was a late night for me. I had to snag a couple tiny clams too, gotta offer I couldn't refuse.

badxgillen
Matt! You got My mushroom! Looks better in your tank anyways, grow that bad boy out. And we will need to see about getting a zoa trade going on. I will most likely start up a seperat thread for that acro, I am going to give it a little down time before the actual chop, its proper to dip and acclimate mariculture acros so no one is stuck with inferior weak corals or nasty hitchhikers...Believe me, I know. Lex, I am going to frag some things for you today, gotta back up a few of these nice acroporas.

Flashy Fins
In case it gets buried, Holly posted a thread with some great pictures here: http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/36184-what-happens-on-the-party-bus/ Now, a little showing off of my purchased goodies! My favorite score of the day was this lobo from Golden Basket, which I have a feeling is going to turn into a rainbow-licious beauty in time. $40! Rudy was not kidding when he said there would be deals for us! Small purple plate coral with a green rim. I've been wanting one of these for a while, so I was happy to take this off Rudy's hands for $25. My all-time favorite coral, the sun and the stars and the moon! A sun coral was my first-ever, and it thrived for close to 2 years, but a couple of back-to-back vacations with terrible tank sitters did him in. Looking forward to keeping this one for many years to come! $40 from OIAB. He offered me a larger one for the same price, but I thought feeding so many mouths might overwhelm my small QT, so I opted for the little guy. Still a very nice size! All in QT for now. The lighting is sufficient in that tank, but doesn't enhance colors as well as my main tank. Can't wait to get them in there! My only regret on this trip is that I wasn't able to spend more! The deals really helped stretch my meager budget, so thank you to our sponsors!
matt
Man flashy I was going to buy that Lobo but you beat me to it!!! That thing is impressive! I will let the shoot grow for a while and than I might frag it! We will see. sent from a Samsung note 4
Bicyclebill
Awesome deals! Thanks to our sponsors that we visited. Here's the pics of my coral scores. A couple mattv specials, and a couple super hairy maricultured mini colonies from OIAB! A couple beautiful wrasses from C&C (melanarus and leopard), but could get pictures. I'm afraid to say that my angel took a taste of this new lobo, but I'm hoping he didn't like it :-(.
Flashy Fins
I'm afraid to say that my angel took a taste of this new lobo, but I'm hoping he didn't like it :-(. Of course he liked it! Lobos are delicious! I wanted to buy that one, too, but a recent fish order meant I had very little to spend on corals. Glad you got it!
