I’ve done this with koi, just make sure all the seams have tape because the liner will go down into the cracks. Also use a lot of bracing and plywood on the inside

I had something like this on a 12k gallon pond. The mail issue is you gotta make a bulk head type fitting out of the acrylic so it would seal to the pond liner. Make it 3’ deep to avoid predators, pm me if you want any help on my ideas. I’ve built 2 ponds, they are a lot of work to build but are really low maintenance and fun.
