Debating on upgrading my drilled biocube 29 to a red sea reefer 170. Not much of an upgrade size wise... But it will be much quieter and it fits my space.
My question is... Once set up... Do I need to wait to transfer all my live stock? Or can I just transfer water and rocks and call it good... I'll be buying new sand.
I have several thousand dollars in high end corals I don't want to loose... That's my biggest concern.
Here's what I did for feeding...
Buy this: http://www.marinedepot.com/Innovative_Marine_AUQA_Gadget_Gourmet_Defroster_Fish_Food_Clips_Feeding_Stations-Innovative_Marine-0I05093-FIFDFECF-vi.html Seperate daily food into ice cube trays so they know only one section a day. Or a pill box works too. Keep that feeder in the tank and then they just have to drop one chunk of food in a day (or twice a day depending on what you do)
I got some bowsers directly from Richard (Cornbred) and they looked exactly like my candy apple reds I had at the time. Someone said they only pop the yellow when they are under metal halides.
