  1. Lowes and Home depot need a pipe bending station This need pops up all the time.
  2. If the pipe is cheap enough to just go in a buy 2 new ones and bend it in the aisle? Even with a little secret squirrel action, they might frown a bit on you bringing in the previously bought pipe to do it
  3. I use a simple Par38 spot from lowes, grows Chaeto like crazy.
  4. Here's an analogy from bean animal's site that answers your question a little. http://www.beananimal.com/projects/silent-and-fail-safe-aquarium-overflow-system.aspx Makes sense, i guess
  5. http://www.bubble-magus.com/productinfo.aspx?id=494
  6. What size dia. and length do you need? I'm in Tigard, you're welcome to swing by for a couple pieces.
  7. What planet does it hail from? and the individual holding it!!
  8. Looking it over again, its seems i've missed a post just before i hit the generate button, from my understanding the idea is to not count my post and just add the max # for everybody else, i thought Johns post made the 25th post. My bad, sorry guys it's my first time but no worries, i have more!
  9. The winner is #6 (I'm pretty sure i did this correct, if not someone correct me please) Pm for pick-up Matty
  10. One things for certain, blasting your fish with a turkey baster thinking they may have sand on them isn't going to help them any.
  11. Let me know if you'll sell the skimmer and your asking price.
  12. Don't quite know how i missed the skimmer, oh well
  13. My acrylic sumps baffles have all separated putting enough pressure on the outer seams to break one of them. After i figured out my drain system i really like the sump design, the plan was to have some baffles cut for a 40b i have and try and copy my current sumps design, my problem is finding a good source for the glass and one of the panes will need a "dog-leg" cut, i've never worked with glass so i don't know how this is done and at what cost. The last time i tried to find some glass for this it was over $20 per pane and there was no talk of the special cut. So in the end i might be better off buying a new sump in the classifieds and if that's the case what would be the best sump design for a Bean animal? Here is the best pic of the empty sump i could find to show the design. After looking at this pic for a bit, there might not be a need for a special cut. Any input would be greatly appreciated as i've never had to build a sump yet.
  14. Yeah, she was at it again a couple days ago, she's got patches all over the tank.
  15. You guys know the drill! Winner will be picked via Random.org on 5/9 at 7:00pm Cut 4/23 Pickup in Tigard Fast growers for me and you can see them from across the room. Developing a rainbow face. Sorry for the terrible pics, i still just have a Sony point and shoot.
  16. Sorry but come on edit shenanigans..........Now i confused myself! Dang Jeremy! and i have to lol at myself, here i am fraggin GB Yowsers and GB Purple Sky's last week sitting in my bed but hey! I had my provocative eyewear on! and i dig with a fresh razor under the polyps taking a good chunk of the plug with me, with a greater risk of cutting myself.. I think in this case we need to all think about the old saying, "A dull blade is more dangerous than a sharp blade, being it requires more pressure with a dull blade, very important when fragging zoas. For the sake of discussion, do people frag Zoas like this individual?
  17. I dropped a nice sized rock on the bottom pane(bare bottom) of a 40b last night (that's housing 95% of my fish ATM) and i swear my heart skipped a few beats, Mitch, it could have been worse, much worse. You'll find yourself saying that many times over in this hobby, might as well get some of them outta the way now
  18. lol John! But i hope he got it all sorted and the sps are again getting cozy.
  19. The more i think about it i'll get in line for the blenny too if we can determine it's a male, i have a female thats been layin eggs.
  20. Same exact fish combo in my tank! I'll take the tang, or get in line i guess. and you know i want that skimmer! Good to see ya again
  21. I'll take the rock, but after seeing it's in Eugene i won't be able to pick it up unfortunately.
  22. Mitchell, do you keep a log sheet? If not, print a bunch of these off... But like others said, frag above the affected area pray they live and find the underlying cause.
