  1. I'm looking for a cheap 2x4 stand for a 40g breeder "36x18"
  2. I have 3 damsels that need a new home, with recent tank changes they just can't stay. They are currently living in a 38g tank in my hall wall and must go! Dont really want to take them to petco being i've had them awhile. 1 convict "quite the attitude on this guy" 1 Azure 1 yellowtail Good health just mean as heck of course! Located in Tigard
  3. He sure is, when i finally was able to catch him and return him to the colander (2-3 weeks later) i walked into the room to check and make sure he was still there, not only was he still there but he decided to split and there were now two. A good surprise in the hobby for once, except now there's two to chase around
  4. I didn't think it was possible but one of my rainbows climbed up out of the water over the rim of the colander and onto a rock the colander was resting on They definitely do whatever the want!
  5. Are you referring to lowes or home depot or somewhere like ACE? I buy all my true union ball valves from lowes and never seen gate valves there.
  6. Just got off the phone with the Tigard George Morlan and their all out of gate valves, any other local stores that sell them? I'm in need of a 1.5'' slip
  7. About how much would i need to cover a 60x20 stand? The stand is not being skinned, i just need it waterproofed. Nvm. 300 sq. ft. of coverage for 1 gal
  8. Looking to finally get my frag tank setup but need to seal the stand first, what's the best cheapest way to go?
  9. Got it installed then realized i don't have a 2nd apple device after all Thanks for the share though.
  10. im pretty sure melafix will suck the oxygen from the water, maybe an air stone would be a good idea. Hope she recovers 100%
  11. would you sell me just one frank? I've been short on some powerheads.

  13. Try and put some more sand of different textures and sizes around his burrow along with some very small rubble/shells etc. He should take all these things and make his home just as he wants it. It's normal for him to dig a hole and post up in there, thats the fun thing about Jawfish, their like little troops in their bunker/foxholes. With Jawfish, they build their own home, you just need to provide them with their "building supplies"
  14. No such thing as a dumb question
  15. That would be great Bill, i've been trying to figure out how to move all these fish between 3 tanks and make fresh SW with only 4 5g buckets. I'll get a hold of you as soon as i can. Thank you Bill
  16. Bio-load Flame angel Dottyback Pair of clowns Anthias Chromis Filefish Neon wrasse I won't be taking the sandbed so the wrasse is screwed
  17. Out of the frying pan, into the fire Woke this morning to a sizzling electrical outlet (drip loop wasn't good enough) my hob skimmer has been clogging up a overflowing lately so half asleep i didn't think much of it, then i realized i removed the skimmer the night before for cleaning. So after i got everything dried up under the stand and electrical dried up and replaced MORE DRIPS! after tracing the source i found the back/bottom of the 55g is leaking. Normally this would be no problem for me being i have a few other tanks running, problem is none of them can support the livestock in the 55g due to tanks either being too small, no skimmer or other fish that cant exactly be together. I'm at a serious loss here
  18. just keep in mind their feeder tentacles can reach 5-8'' on some of them. Not a pretty sight to wake up to chalices eating chalices : (
