I had a temporary moment of sanity and went back to researching and it seems the problem is in the fact it uses 2connections, Wifi for Network Connection only and RF for connection to your Equipment, i think there must be some interference somewhere that's causing the drop, i'll try hardwired with cat5

Anyone else having trouble with their reeflinks not keeping a selected preset (or any manual setting) and reverting back to the scheduled program? Most of the time it's after about 15-20mins and always immediately upon exiting the ecosmart live app on my phone or tablet. It's connected wireless, 5-10 feet from the Radions. I can see this becoming a problem for the half dozen new sps frags i've just added. The initial set up of this thing burnt me out so much i'm having a hard time continuing troubleshooting

I think i'm ready to look for a new pump that will run this skimmer, can anyone help me out locating a proper pump for this skimmer? I bought the shaft for this pump but i don't really want to wait the 4-6 week back order impeller

As long as the skimmer body is in good shape your biggest concern should be with the pump, are replacement parts readily available? Can the pump be upgraded? Things with moving parts should always be looked into 1st, IMHO

This is all very entertaining and all but i think i should clear some things up real quick, Arson has good points and while i agree (Not so much with been put on the spot) but, he was not aware that i had spoke with one of our LFS's about my list and wanting to keep the "money" in town, but i was told 9/10 times it's just better to order some things online because of the MAP pricing and extremely low profit margins. With my 2nd order (Apex and Dos) my plan was to contact Jeff tomorrow and talk with him about this, not sure if he stocks the gold system, but i'm sure he can get it I have no problem paying a markup on all my ATI T5's,trace elements, selcon, garlic and so on, been that way for my 2 1/2 years. This is my support and the best i can provide. Furthermore there is something very very wrong if Neptune and Ecotech will give me any flack for having a problem under warranty and would rather deal with a company/distributor instead of their costumer.
