1. I've had great luck with salty underground. They've got great prices too Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
2. That would be very cool. Seems pretty close to completion without hearing a word about it, which seems a bit odd. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
3. 1 year old Aquamaxx AM150 skimmer for sale. Excellent condition. Sedra 7000 pump, small footprint, very quiet. Good up to 160 per specs. Worked awesome on my 90G. Got sucked into upgraditis again... $150 or best offer. conv_12396.pdf
4. Here's mine, if i'm not too late. growing pretty well. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
5. I'll be there. like Kate said, this is an interesting venue mixing hipsters, some country, and pbr. I personally go for the Ninkasi myself. John's right about gaining knowledge from bullsh@@ting over beers. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
6. I like the new Two little fishies 2 oz tube. The new tube has a cool cap with a little needle that pokes back down into the tube to keep it from sealing shut. It's thick enough, though the Loctite gel is pretty nice to work with (but incredibly expensive for how much you get). The dollar tree glue works good too, but doesn't go very far.
7. Charles, thanks for the new vendor info. Pretty cool website. Being an HVAC engineer, I can attest to the aluminum tube with fan blowing through it as a good design for a heat sink. It's certainly not as pretty, but it is very efficient.
8. That reminds me...I bought a mandarin a few months back that I was seeing pretty often, especially at night. I totally forgot about it, and actually haven't seen it for a while. Oops...
9. Ok, here's my attempt at this. Got my mesh and plastic bin at Joannes. The mesh is in sewing section, so you don't have to spend half an hour walking the aisles like I did. Bought a warm white led bulb from Costco. Used some aluminum refector behind screen; please chime in on whether that was a stupid idea. Keeping my fuge going. Current nitrates are at 1 with elos kit, but i've got a fair amount of bubble and hair algae going on. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
10. I've got a spare SE fixture, bulb, and ballast you can borrow if you want. That led looks way too bright and will likely not make your corals happy in the short term. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
11. That's insane! My 11 year old daughter asked how big it was and how long it lived, then promptly exclaimed how stupid that was. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
12. Mine is doing pretty good, though I don't know that it's any taller. Please note that I have not mysteriously changed rulers for measuring, for whatever that's worth... today first pic Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
13. Setting up 12g freshwater tank for my daughter and looking for the typical decorations. I know some of you must have boxes of this stuff laying around from before saltwater Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
14. text sent on the cube and LED light
15. My little clown has taken to my mushroom as a surrogate anemone. Shrimp and goby have determined a new cave needed to be dug. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
16. Looking for a tailspot blenny for my nano, and hoping to not have to mail order it in. Anyone have one or seen one at a local shop? Thanks, Bill
17. Wow, this little pistol shrimp/goby pair totally rearrange the sand bed every day. Hope my rocks don't start falling over! Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
