    That’s the beauty of getting old Brad. Even when we do one thing that could cause major damage, we happen to accidentally do another thing that caused it to be relatively ok.

    Well shoot, I didn’t see the spare parts! I saw that the bare complete pumps were no longer stocked so I assumed they were outdated.

    XF230. The other one is perfect, but these are a pain to take the actual magnet out of the body. The controller display has gone a little haywire, and it doesn't appear there are spare parts anywhere for these. They've lasted me several years now, so I'm not unhappy at all. I ordered some Nero 5's though since I've been wanting to see what they'd look like in my tank.

    Anyone running the new Nero 5 pumps for recirculation? One of my Gyres just seized up so I am in market for two new recirculation pumps

    (2) RMS XR30 tank mounts. $90 pair or $45 each. Couple years old, so does not have the weird adapter for the new G5 that you’ll probably sell soon anyway. Have boxes, and you all have seen how I take care of my stuff. Well, don’t judge me by by front yard...

    If you’re talking about the clippard that @goldenbasketreef called out, that one looks to be 12v dc. Any 12v dc power adapter rated for 1 amp or less should work. The berkert I used was 24v dc and I had a power adapter from a broken jaebo pump lying around that worked. You might have an adapter that size from an unused electronic or just buy one off amazon for 10 bucks.

    That’s the beauty that many miss. It’s literally just a transformer to a voltage with general amp output, not some proprietary product that will blow up anything other than what’s named

    Sorry, I scrapped the frag plug. If I’m close to winning otherwise, I’ll leg wrestle for second place. My tank is in my signature, and I think my numbers are 400ish, 8ish, and 1.025ish for calcium, alk dkh, and salinity. My ruler is cut down to zero from an old old frag comp when Kim handed these out. Awesome seeing other humans I know and talking in real time with Jeff, Jorge, and Jack!
