Yep, it’s super cool to see!

Nice build, I was using some chrome brass connectors and showing oxidation fast. Stainless connector part is the way to go.
I use digital solenoid like this one, very low amp 12vdc solenoid so didn't get hot at all
Where did you find that solenoid? That website shown in picture no longer exists

Well, it's 11:10 on Monday ( I believe) night and I'm cracking a beer. I've been working from home for I believe starting on three weeks. I took a break from drinking on the 3rd, and went through the 20th. But I decided if I'm going to make it through this human calamity, I need beer. I think humanity, and especially governments, are for the first time listening to the doctors and scientists that hammer on the influenza strains every year. The fact that the new expected Us death toll is roughly 50% higher than US death toll from influenza in 2017-18 and is going to collapse society as we know it kind of blows my mind. It's kind of funny/not funny that we don't even put a second thought to the flu. Can you imagine if this is what happened every year when flu season started? Why doesn't it? Bueller... Bueller...

Very nice! I bought one from Charles (Wanareef) a few years back that he built up the same.

Are you kidding! That looks like that vinyl plank that was a butt ton more money and labor to install! Looks nice!

Andrew, I made your exact same statement on FB about this. [language filter]?!? Most humans appear to loose their basic intelligence when mob mentality sets in, even up in high power positions. We're all the same, so I guess that makes sense.

That is not linoleum pal, that is vinyl plank flooring. I love that stuff! I redid my kitchen with it. Highly recommend. Excellent job on routering down a hair to have an actual low point for water for that drain. And are those mountain bike knee pads you're wearing?

Oh Brian, I do so enjoy your sense of humor! But I digress. You're not going to get an anemone to move unless you aggravate the piss out of it, and not only will it move but it will likely split. That's what I recommend. Poke it all day long while you're working from home this week/month/quarter/lifespan and it will not only break loose, but you'll have another one to sell too!

I was using gorilla glue super glue gel for quite a while with great results but I switched back to loctite gel when I realized I couldn't confirm that gorilla was cyanoacrylate glue. Can you guys confirm it's ingredients??
Here’s the inside flap from gorilla glue

I started buying the gorilla glue gel and found it’s got the needle stopper in the cap so it never closes off. BSI used to do that but they stopped and that means you get maybe three uses before it’s toast

Honestly, based on running an IM20 for several years, I found any skimmer for that small a tank was a waste of time. A 5 gallon water change every week or two was I much better method in my experience. I tried a few different ones, and they all sucked

That’s awesome Brett! The only way to get rid of aptasia and super awesome way to get these without having to pay for overnight shipping yourself.

What benefits are you hoping for by buying one?

Going to be hard to find used because it’s such a great upgrade. They’re so affordable I’d recommend just biting the bullet and buying new one!

Ooh, Rudy is a legend in the industry. Local to us, and been doing coral imports at wholesale level for decades.

Rudy has used them at Golden Basket, so they do work and work well

I bought a set a few years back, and couldn’t get them to work with my home WiFi for some reason. They worked from my office, but not my house. Customer support wasn’t able to get it figured out, so had to return them.

I very much like them on my XR30’s. Made a big difference in blending colors, and spread out the par a bit too. BRS did a good video on it I think. I recommend

I’ve got a portable air compressor with fitting to do this. I’ve done it through the years with my calcium reactor tubing. That’s my suggestion as well

I think the photon you’re thinking about is a pretty solid choice. I’ve read really good stuff about them.
