Man, I couldn't agree more completely.

I’m toying with building a manually operated version that can integrate into my current setup. Not convinced it’s worth the effort though

Shoot Brian, that sucks. Sorry to not get to see this come to fruition for you

Well mine broke off and was just a stump, but it’s still alive

PNWMAS Tapatalk app seems to not be working for me. It's requiring me to log in, but telling me I don't have permission because I'm not logged in or do not have permission to do this action. Any ideas?

Shouldn't be a problem if there's no significant light hitting it. If there is, it could get coated in algae.

My bigger concern would be the uv breaking down the vinyl tubing. I’m pretty sure it would if hit with direct light, but that is likely only bleed out light.

I dropped the good one off last night at C&C. It’s now in a black and green Hitachi tool bag. So glad the club has this available!

Did it include any battery system to continue supplying power at night or in emergency situations?
Nope, just panels tied into PGE grid. So I’d still be paying PGE monthly service fee of $11 and whatever extra I need that’s not being created. Blue Raven solar is the company.

So I just got the sales pitch today for adding solar panels to my house. Thoughts?

Dang, I just did a 5lb bottle exchange this morning and it was $39.67! Airgas has additional $3.50 maintenance fee and a $9.40 hazmat charge that I don’t recall seeing before. Where does everyone get their co2?

I am a supporting member. And I could really use a new MP40!

Awesome ! Here’s a little joke to go along with Brian’s

Oh great, I guess I need to go do some research now and decide if I need this new gadgetry...

I agree with Brian. I use the second ones down to move mine and they work well. There’s another guy on the forums that works glass for a living and he said those are the only way to go as well

Bump and FREE now!!!!! I need this out of my garage to make room for my daughter and her boyfriend’s sh$@ since they’ve moved in with me. I fixed the center post. Just needs a 1.5” bulkhead and a sump.

I have some in my sump. Never tried scraping them off the glass, but I imagine I could. I'm in Scappoose. If you wanted to head this way, I could scrap off a decent little group.

Dang Andrew, I don’t know that I’d advise trying to scrape off. I’d be afraid of the spores, or whatever they are, getting up into your display

Bummer you’ve got that going on! I’d be up for grabbing a piece and seeing if I can make it grow

Mine was really cool. Recommend spiral wrap for any wires in tank though. Mine liked to chew on cords.

Anyone still have this one around? I lost the last of what I had when I tore down and restarted new tank, and would love to grow it again.

Inkbird ITC-308 temp controller, any good?

Dang, that Robo-Tank setup looks like a fun covid time experiment to play around with!
