I could out cook all of you with a wooden match and a piece of tinfoil. Ethiopian food at jarra's is good. 13TH or something like that and Hawthorne. Ambiance and service are the worst I have even seen but the food is great.

Ya, that's how it is unfortunately, I learned the hard way that some people cant keep secrets. I will tell you to get a hold of US forestry forestry and find out where the fires were last year. They love 1 year old burn areas. I dont like the competing for mushrooms so I go to forested places where they dont grow as densely, I just go to unwind and listen to the sounds and see the wildlife. There is a site much like this one that has shroomheads on it. I will look it up and post a link later. I do take people out for chanterelles but everyone knows where to find those.

I think if you just RO your water it would be fine for your fresh water setup.

San Antonio still scares me to death. They are just kinda resting the main guys. Look at the minutes they played yesterday. They have lots and lots of experience and that is enough to get you to the second and third round sometimes.

Its a killer burger joint that also has very good fries, they dont used anything thats been frozen. A bit spendy but worth it every once in awhile.

I am seeing this sunshine and my mind is wandering to the cascade mountain range. The black morels should be busting up from the ground in the next 3-4 weeks. I like to try and get enough put up so my family can have a great morel feed once a month. I will sometimes find some spring boletes and they are really good. The corals mushrooms are supposed to be good but I dont know enough about them and dont trust my knowledge enough to eat them. Around here in the Willamette valley I find the yellow morels in April but dont care for them enough to make a huge effort for them. They seem to be out and about under the cottonwoods around the Willamette and the Columbia rivers. I remember finding buckets of them one day, we were fishing the multnomah channel for spring chinook and had to go to shore to relive ourselves and they were everywhere. In the fall I find all the chanterelles a person could ever want and matsutake, boletes, angel wings, chicken of the woods, oysters i am sure I am forgetting some of the ones I find but that is the bulk of them for the fall. In winter January -february I go get Oregon white truffles. I make enough truffle butter to last me a year. I didn't get a chance to go last year but had enough from the previous year to get me through. I just couldn't give any away like I usually do. The only other thing I put up is canned tuna, well that and if I am lucky enough to deer or an elk. Sorry about the long post. I kinda just got on a roll.

I also am also sorry for your loss and agree 100% with what your doing. I would do the same. My dog is as much a part of my family as my kids. Sometimes I like the dog better, she loves me unconditionally. My kids are 10 and 15 so there their love is day to day, lol

I did a two year deal with the coral magizine and just got my first issue yesterday. I love that guys 50 something gallon tank he has it stuffed to the gills. I would like one that has more articles on the tanks and equiptment though. Mainly because I am just getting started.

Well if you can get one that fits in your price range it might work out. I am to the point where I feel I am just chasing my tail with research for my skimmer. So I am just going to buy that MSX200.

I checked with the guy I know and found out he has 70 snakes and only 4 lizards so he doest do any fancy misting. If anyone needs a snake though I can put you in contact with him. He has snakes that start at $40.00 all the way up to $5,000.00 He has raised them for many years. For the record I am not a huge fan of snakes.

Love mine also, try a small whole pig. I did a 110lber and it was to die for. I have the big tex traeger. Papa murphys pizza are good on it also. I think you could put a dog turd on it and it would taste good after it was cooked. {well not quite but you get the point}

You could of called me and offered to bring me lunch cause that's right down the street from my shop. Ive eaten there twice, very good both times, but $11.37 for a burger fries and a drink is kinda spendy.

Think about it, if drew blood from you its going to draw blood from your fish if given the chance. But that's just my opinion.
