  1. My pump went out and am hoping someone might have one they would sell. After the holidays finances are tight.. Thanks
  2. I am moving to California and am selling my Saltwater Tank. It has been up and running for 7 + years. This tank is beautiful and unique as it is a peninsula tank and can be viewed from three sides. Has a stand and canopy. Snowpunk helped me originally do all the drilling and plumbing. It is a complete set up the tank itself is 125g, 20g Sump, 20g top off tank ,Bubble King Skimmer. I have not upgraded the lighting although I did replace the bulbs a yr ago . It has 450 watt MH, a few T5's and moon lights. Koralia Powerheads, It has a closed loop system although I haven't used it in awhile. Live Stock I can not begin to guess how much live rock is in there a lot and again it is beautiful and unique there is some large Arch way pieces and some table like pieces as well. Among a lot of other great pieces. 4" live sand Lg Blue Tang Lg Yellow tang 2 good sized Rose Anemones and a few babies approx 4" melanurus wrasse Pair of Black Clown fish, I can not remember the type they are I have had them for many yrs. 8" engineer Goby Black and White striped , Looks like a eel but is not. He has finally found a happy spot in the tank and leaves the rest alone. 2 blue yellow tailed damsels lg lavender serpent starfish, also been in there for yrs Several diff kinds of mushrooms clove polyps I know there is probably a few more things I am forgetting. As for extra stuff there is a lot way to much to list. I have been so busy getting ready for the move that my poor tank is pretty neglected and really needs a new home. Would like to sell it as a whole but may ending up parting it out. . We will see. I will try to add some pictures later tonight. The tank is approx 6ft long Asking 1000.00 or you can make me a reasonable offer I am located in Hillsboro Or
  3. The reason I am debating Saltwaterfish.com is that they have a Blue headed Fairy Wrasse on sale for 14.99, a pearly jawfish for 11. But I don't see the Lightning Maroon Clowns. I don't see them on either site ..
  4. Humm good idea are there some on the site here ? I checked online and about 98% of there reviews are good .. But if you have more info I would love to have it .. This is 1st online order and am a little nervous
  5. I am placing a order today and didn't know if anyone else wanted anything. It is nice to either share shipping or order enough that we get free shipping .. Just let me know ASAP .. Thanks Sherri
  6. Hey everyone, for those who don't know Jeff at Jeff's Custom Detailing does a beautiful job on restoring tanks.. You can give him a call 503 320 6171 You can ask Nick at Rose City or Tim at West side either one will give you a great recommendation to him .. Good Luck I personally don't think it is easy to do your own and if you screw it up it is not always a easy fix..
  7. I have #50 of mixed some are DIY rock and some is Rock I previously purchased from LFS. I would do $2 a lb for all of it .. There are some nice pieces .. Sherri
  8. Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you know that we are doing our Haunted House this yr and it something that you should not miss... Check out the Web site terrorinthecountry.com Sherri
  9. Hey all, ok here is the situation my mother lives in Jewell and is really struggling with her tank temp.. She needs a chiller but can afford one right now .. So I thought I would put it out there that if anyone has one they are not using right now and would be interested in renting it to her for awhile that would be much appreciated.. Thanks
  10. Is there anything from our ocean here like in seaside, Cannon Beach that would be compatible in our reef tanks ? I know it is going from cold water to warm water, but I thought I heard once that there was a few things ... I had also heard that some of the algae from our coast line is really good for our fish.. Do you know what kind that is ? Thanks everyone
  11. I am hoping someone can help me, I can not find the plug to this for the wiring.. It is the Small Sq one on the right side of the Ballast. I have all the wiring I just need the little plastic plug... Hoping someone has one around.. My 55 currently has no Lights at all and I am worried about the corals.. Otherwise I have to do a lot of moving stuff around .. Thanks Sherri
  12. Hi, I am selling several pieces of LR. ranging from 1 1/2 to 11 lbs. I am asking $3 a lb There is approx 6 pieces that are about 1 1/2 lbs I am also selling 5 pieces of Tunga Branching Rock asking $4 lb for it there is 4.5 lbs. this is approx 1 to 1 1/2 " thick I also have a some live DIY pieces that I am looking to sell as well for $2 a lb they range from 3 to 4 lb and I have a couple really big pieces that are probably 60lbs I am guessing we could pull it out and weigh it. I bought it from a guy off the site that was breaking down his tank awhile back. None of this rock has any Coraline algae on it yet.

  14. I am very sorry to hear of what happened. I was unable to attend the meeting, but am kind of glad now. I HOPE THEY SHOW UP IN YOUR MAIL.. When we were all at the meeting in Longview I suggested the name tags and was told that they used to do that and yeah they would start again. Hopefully that happens before the next meeting. I think it makes a difference when people can name you. OK here is a question and probably not, but you never know .. I read that people where setting boxes and what not up there. If it was a Styrofoam box was heavy enough would the rings have stuck in the bottom ? Just a thought. I am very sorry this happened to you guys, I applaud your willingness to have host again. I would still host and hope all of you still will as well. As Frank said just be smart about it. I hope we don't let 1 bad apple spoil the whole basket sort of speak. Maybe someone should cam cord the meetings, I know it wont see everything but you never know and could just be a deterrent, might be fun to do and be able to watch back especially when we are doing a demonstration. What goes around comes around... I have been where you are, twice my house was broke into and some of the jewelry they took wasn't worth a whole lot but the sentimental value was huge.. Like my Great Great grandmothers gold wedding band very thin and from many yrs of being worn. Couldn't have brought them more then a couple dollars.. Sherri
  15. Here is my vote from Bay Corals, it is sad about Zoanthids.com they really had a great selection. Jason Fox Bloodshot zoa paly Blue Agave PE Paly Electric Lady PE paly Five Color Rainbow zoa, Kaleidoscope Zoa Sherri
