Taking my kids out on the Columbia Sunday to try and catch some of those tasty treats. Hope to have a nice fish fry and fish taco's early next week.

How is this build coming along? I am looking at all lighting options as of now. My hope is to find a nice 3' fixture used at a reasonable price, but when I need something I can never find it. After I get one I will find one for 1/2 price I paid. Buy high sell low seems to be how it works out for me in the end, lol

Has anyone tried useing white acrilic as a frag rack for frags that need high light? My thought is that it would reflect light and maybe make it grow a little faster. I would assume you would want to wait until its healed. Its Just a random thought I had. I have a clear cig lighter rack with a white door on the back of it. And was thinking about chopping it up in the future for frags.

I doubt any one want this but I have a 8.5oz bottle of seachem Prime. The sticker is still on it and it was 13.99, I told someone I was starting a tank and they brought me this a heater plus a mag float. The Prime is the only thing I dont need. So its free to who ever needs it.

Dam hippies. Hope it all worked out for you. I used to have lots of 1000w and 400w stuff around{hoods, ballasts, bulbs}, never thought I would need that stuff again and I just gave it away a few years ago DOH!

I will start off with saying I dont know enough about anything reef related. The reason I found this thread is I am looking into lighting for myself. But as I understood it the choices of bulbs for the 175w isnt as good as the 150w or 250w. Is there any truth to this or it just hogwash?

Lived here my whole life I have been "told" the acrop is a strip club:D I have the tanks but no reef. I am researching everything trying to only buy equipment once also trying to find the best places to buy the reef part of my tank. As of right now I love that you all trade and sell some stuff. I also love Upscales and Suotas shops. They are top notch of the ones Ive been to in the last 3 months while just browsing and trying to sponge info. If there is any other top notch places I need to see please feel free to let me know of them, as I haven't been to all the shops in the Portland metro area.
