Has anyone tried to keep one of these in a 40gallon? The one I'm looking at is quite small (about 2 inches) and I know that I would have to move it eventually. Would it bother my corals (zoanthids, softies, fungia) or clam? Would my clown fish be safe? I want a blue tang, but I had never seen one of the scopas before and I really like it. So its now a contender if the consensus is that it would probably do ok.

I know that I had said I wasn't going to try another clam for a while, but MAN I couldn't walk away from the deal that I got on this guy! He's huge, around 4-5 inches across and looks really healthy. I think its a crocea? What do you guys think? If this is a crocea, do I need to move it up into my rocks or will it be ok on my sand bed?

I really hope you decide to keep this set up! Its not an easy hobby to get out of entirely....hey....just look at Garrett. If you do decide to sell your tank, I would LOVE to give your clowns a home. That said, I hope they get to stay with you, but if not just keep me in mind.

I think your tank looks great! Its got some nice variety, and you're happy with it....which is of course what really matters here. I agree about needing a little extra flow, maybe a koralia or 2 would help? The heat hurt a lot of us, I hope that your tank (and frogspawn) recovers well!

I'm interested in the ORA green frag Frank, but I need to get an ATO on my tank first. The salinity swings will be too much for SPS right now. If I can get one set up this week I'll grab that from you this weekend if possible.

I had one of those jade hermits!! I called him jerkmo, and he attacked other hermits and ate almost a whole rock's worth of zoas before I figured out that it was him.

Plus you have to completely re-learn how to work the danged thing. Since when did drag and drop not copy? I didn't want to create a freaking shortcut from my FLASH DRIVE! I wanted to copy to my desktop.....argh! I didn't like my experience with a macbook. I'm back to PC, and that's where I'll stay.

I'll give you a call tonight and we can figure out some trades.
