  1. No not really, I think at last count I had about 40 different colonies so it would take me forever to list them, and I don't know the names of many of them.... to this date I haven't heard that I don't have enough of what people want, they usually have trouble picking only 10, lol. I've had several people start at 10 and end up taking 15 or so.
  2. Thanks guys! I'll be free tomorrow afternoon after 4:30 if anyone wants to drop by
  3. Bump for a good guy, I've dealt with Kip before and he's a stand up guy!
  4. I free tonight after 7pm for anyone that wants to drop by and take a look... I'm sure you can find some corals you will like in my tank
  5. Got back in town a little early today so if anyone wants to come over tonight they are welcome, just pm for the address
  6. Thanks Mike! I laugh sometimes at the prices some people charge for coral. I try to charge a fair price that covers my overhead (bulbs, chemicals) so hopefully the tank can finally become self sustaining after putting so much $$$ into it over the years. I'm not looking to turn my tank into a money making venture.
  7. I usually just do this until the tank looks trimmed up. I'll post in this thread when I stop. Last time I did it for a couple of weeks. This time my schedule is somewhat limited due to summer activities. Mike
  8. Just to clarify so there are no hurt feelings when I say ANY 10 corals I meant 10 different corals. I'm not willing to frag 10 frags of blue tort
  9. My availability on Monday will be after 7pm, all day on Tuesday, and after 5 on Wednesday. So if these times work for any of you let me know. I will also be available next weekend the 28th in the late afternoon and all day sunday the 29th. Thanks Mike
  10. I am on lunch! YOU should be working!
  11. come on up! corvallis isn't that far
  12. I know its summer and most of you are out enjoying the weather and not your tanks, but my tank is starting to look too full again and its time to trim again. I have done this 10/100 pack before and it seemed really successful, I think everyone was happy with what they received. The deal is you come and pick ANY 10 sps corals from my system and I will frag a piece for you on the spot. The minimum amount you can purchase is 10 frags, this makes it worth while for everyone involved. The bigger my colony the larger the frag you will receive. The smaller the colony or the more rare/exotic the coral the smaller the frag will be. Once a small coral gets fragged to its limit I will let you know its unavailable (however the last time there was only 1 or 2 of my 40-50 colonies I had to do this with.) Take a look at my previous sale thread for examples of corals people received frags of. I have 40-50 colonies of colorful sps from the pretty common to some not so common pieces... I will be available starting this next Monday evening and will be available throughout the week in the evening, saturday afternoon and all day sunday. Let me know if you want to stop by! Mike
  13. Looks great Calvin! I agree the white balance is tough to get right with the blue t5s. I have to shoot in high res raw format and alter in photoshop to get anywhere near the correct color
  14. The freshwater stores like the wet spot in Portland have them... Great food that your fish will go crazy for!
  15. I'll trade you some sps for him if you still have him
  16. Feed more... ALOT more. I feed about a 4x4" section of PE mysis daily... If I had to guess how much that would be in cubes it would probably be 8-12 cubes daily on my 400 gallon system. I also will feed about 100 small NLS pellets daily. Most people who see how much I feed think I'm crazy but I have fat healthy fish that poop a lot and feed my corals for me. The only additive I use is a little amino acids from ELOS once weekly or so.

    my temp

I like to run my tank low, about 74 in the winter up to about 78 in the summer. Heat doesn't really affect corals too much unless you get really low, like in the low 70, high 60 range. Most fish seem to do better at a lower temperature in my experiences.
  18. I don't really, lol. That way when I clean it after summer the tank feels like new again! It keeps me from getting board with the hobby. Just say the word and its yours no charge... you do more than enough for this club
  19. Gopro finally released a dive housing for the gopro HD2 camera. The problem with the old housings was the rounded lens that caused distortion and blurring underwater. I just threw the camera in it and took a quick video of my filthy reef.... I haven't cleaned the glass in a few weeks, lol. I rarely clean it during the summer and after summer the tank usually looks better than ever, go figure! I really like it! the blurring has been fixed and the colors arent too bad either. I was worried the heavy blue lighting would wash out the video but the gopro can handle it!
  20. Just txted him and everything is normal, just must have caught him on a supply run.... I find Cos extremely willing to be helpful with anything I have needed and really like his shop. I know he is having some issues with his coral systems somehow getting copper in them :(
  21. Hmmm.. was just in there last week and everything was fine....
