    thread x thread. Trust me, you WILL need to disassemble something, somewhere, sometime. Every time I have used slip(glued) fittings, I have regretted it down the road.

    Bingo! Especially in your cube Jordan. I have a spare single controller you can borrow to go along with Calvins 6055's.

    XM bulbs run best off Magnetic ballasts. The bulb is fine. I would take it back to where ever you bought it and they should take it back. If not, sell it here.

    Agreed! 3 250w will cover a 6' tank better than 2 400's. Plus you get supplemental actinics with the maristar.

    Peppermint shrimp only work if they're hungry. IE: you need to feed VERY lightly or even spot feed your fish for a few weeks to make sure that the peppermints will be hungry enough to eat the aiptasias.

    Run the snapper impeller. Throttle it down to about 60% and be happy you bought a great pump.

    If it were my clam I would worry about the gaping mouth rather than where it is sitting. I would leave it up on the rocks and build a barrier around it so it can't fall off. If the gaping starts to get better in the next few days I'd say you're OK.

    Got any info to back up that claim? I've been keeping clams in the same tank with multiple emeralds and have never had a problem with emeralds.

    Not true. The OT was originally brought in by Gateway Bob. Upscales ended up growing it out and distributing it.

    Not sure if it's still around or not but the best greasy spoon in PDX is Pa's Kettle. (160th & division or so) 24oz. chicken fried steak, 3 eggs sunnyside up, hash browns, the best country gravy EVER and all the scones you can eat!
