  1. Now that I have had my Golden Dwarf moray for a while now and he is fat and happy, I have decided it's time for a more permanent tank for him and the other inhabitants. I like the Biocube but I have been wanting something a little nicer since setting up my Nuvo in my office. I placed an order for one of these tonight: http://www.cadlights.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=61_62&products_id=293 I am currently using a Kessil a 350n but am thinking I will need a bit more spread for the 24" cube. I could upgrade to the E360W with the spectral controller and use the same mount but have also been considering going back to T5's with an ATI fixture. Any opinions? Anyway, SO looking forward to the upgrade and if anyone wants a good deal on a complete biocube, let me know!
  2. Thank you for the kind words, I am enjoying having this tank at work. I don't dose anything, just weekly water changes with Red Sea coral Pro. The Starboard doesn't float, I actually left a small gap on the corner so I can lift it though to vacuum under it if it becomes an issue, so far so good.
  3. Thought I should update this thread with at least a FTS. Tank is doing awesome, coralline algae in this tank has exploded, I guess I'm doing something right. Here's A shot from today.
  4. These are very popular and seem to work very well, for the price you can't beat them. http://www.oceanrevivellc.com/goods.php?id=19
  5. My father in law smoked ribs on his Big Green Egg so I am doing baked potatoes and corn on mine.
  6. What are everyone's favorite pellets? I have only tried the GMG gold blend so far.
  7. What models of the Reefer's do you have in? Can you pm me a price? Thanks.
  8. So, did you ever get the grill? I just got this guy last night, I'm excited to try it out.
  9. Since you have a pump to use these are great and you can customize them to fit your needs. http://autotopoff.com
  10. I always did when I had mine but had to clean it periodically. I think it also helps with condensation build up in the fixture along with splash. Besides that, hot bulbs and cold water don't mix well, I was always afraid the water hitting the bulb would cause the bulb to blow and rain glass in the tank.
  11. Try googling Atergatis floridus. If it is, don't eat it!
  12. I am also open to trades, coral or ?
  13. I bought this a long time ago and held on to it for a project, after attempting said project it is to deep for my needs. Asking $80 for it, comes with a stand and hinged acrylic top. It needs a cleaning but is in good shape and the drain is new. Pick up in Orchards. Thanks.
  14. While I was feeding the tank the other day I decided to take a few top down shots. Corals really do look awesome looking down on them. Everyone is well in the tank with the exception of my cardinals, the larger one died very suddenly, from what I can't tell, everyone else is healthy as a horse. Not top down but I liked the crazy polyp extension, I think that means it's happy This is a piece I was given free, it seems to be happy and puffy but I will keep an eye on it. I have it shaded a bit and am feeding it regularly.

  16. A fan blowing across the surface or at the sump works well but will cause more evaporation for sure.
  17. I saw this set up yesterday, this is a crazy deal! The tank is pretty much perfect and comes with absolutely everything and then some.
