  1. Per classified rules... If the post does not relate to the sale please refrain from posting on the users ad. You can make a post elsewhere. TankIt if you like I can clean this thread up, let me know.
  2. He he... I design restaurants and I am doing another design for them this week for a new one. Medford area.
  3. Can't make it, already made plans with the kiddies that day! I appreciate the invite though.
  4. Also as a side note, on thick stuff I will cut for 10-15 seconds one way and switch to the other side and back and fourth, this just helps let the heat dissipate.
  5. I cut a bunch of glass with a rotozip, I have only a few words of advice... First lots and lots of water. You can use plumbers putty and make a bowl around hole but my experience is forget it... use a hose outside and get a nice trickle of water going and make sure it is hitting the place your cutting. YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE DIRECT THE WATER TO THE BIT. The second the water is not on the bit you will hear a sound pitch change and thicker glass (1/2"-3/4") will start to swell. This means its to hot. Make sure you use the ceramic bit, it cuts like butter. After your done relube your rotozip bearings as the water will take its toll if you don't.
  6. Keep your head up Eric, your young it won't be the first time. Just gives you a heads up on saving cash for times like this next time. Congrats on the kid and enjoy, you will put it back together.
  7. And remember a "regular" hdmi is only a few bucks, I have a few spares laying around at all times since they are so cheap online and so expensive local.
  8. I would bet for the xbox not a huge difference, but in movies (blue ray especially) you will notice a difference. Particularly with fine things like thin white text on a black screen, hair, smoke, etc. I don't have an xbox but my ps3 only has a HDMI plug. Going from my component dvd to a hdmi dvd was night and day difference.
  9. More than likely Phosphates, you should have it tested or ask another local reefer that has the kit to test. The source could be overfeeding, phos leeching from live rock, phos from crushed coral bed, a simple SHORT term fix is rowaphos or phosban if this is in fact your problem. Have your water tested... it should read zero phos.
  10. My LFS gave me some of this some time ago, I did not notice any difference. The zoas liked it though.
  11. Least they can kick......
  12. Should be safe, depends on what they are, if its shrimp you should be fine. I take a flashlight at night and I can see there eyes glowing all over in the live rock while the fish sleep. When I fed phyto (weekly for a year and a half) their numbers increased, but when I purchased a few wrasses they all but disappeared. If you run a remote refugium they will do well in there to, its a great second food for fish.
  13. I used to feed feeder shrimp and artemia. I noticed they stay around for years till the wrasses get them when they get larger. You probably fed artemia or got them as hitchhikers, either way good find.
  14. I have done both, and had good and bad experiences with both, I would say if you can use sugar sand and keep it maintained go sanded as I like the look better. On the flip side I like the cleanliness of going bare bottom and running a DSB on the side. If you have an extra deep tank consider Remote sand, if its easy to get to I would put in the sand.
  15. The user was fishing for one of two things, site hits or sending you a virus, the user has never posted anything legit and was banned for "fishing".
  16. If you get anymore pms like that please pm me, Chief, or any moderator. Luckily he sent one to me so it was pretty easy to ban but these guys are getting more tricky all the time.
  17. Great football, was fun games to watch, can't wait to see what's in store for next year.
  18. Good luck, pests suck and as Jason H said, TMPCC is a great product. I would not buy anything without dipping in it first. It can be tricky and I have got brown out from using it but I dosed on the high concentration side. Nothing worse than tearing down my 155 gallon a COUPLE time to attempt dosing all my SPS, what a nightmare. Probably the #1 worst hobby experience I have ever had. I would intercept whole tank and have carbon ready in case you have any issues.
  19. I have tried that, they always seemed to come back after about 4-5 months, eventually treated whole tank. If I had to do again I would hit the whole system, my inverts did fine with it even though I hit them with double dose.
  20. I order it from here: http://www.petmedstore.com/ Its shipped from Canada I think? No prescription needed even thought it says so.
  21. If it was closer I would have tried, I got your invite, its just to far to drive.
  22. depends, I think with a 10 thru 12k you should be using them (unless your just looking for growth), with a 15k it could be beneficial, with 20k its not needed as far as visually to the human eye. As for the benefits of actinic's for the corals benefit, that's another topic all together.
  23. Welcome to the club and great looking tanks!
