Had a great week fishing, landed about 12 Salmon (Silvers) and had 5 keepers and 13 total I took home and smoked on the smoker. Also landed 2 Blue sharks (one 6 foot and the other around 8 foot) also one of the guys caught an opa and we also did some Rock fishing. Took home about 60 crabs out of the 300 dispersed for the group!

Same experience with RSCP Impur, I only run it 12 hours before WC and then use it up.

don't forget to buy a bunch of the little spacers, makes life easy.

I'm not even going to go there, I will only say that for now on I will not be selling any items here on the boards as I get more dependable people from craigslist and they don't lowball as bad either (offering me 30% of the asking sale price is just making yourself look stupid). Unless its someone I know well its just not going to happen.

Thanks Mike for helping me out over the last month, I had some bad experiences on the boards selling multiple items and Mike really went out of his way to help me even though he was in the middle of a move (remember he had to move that big take). I have my system on a controller, the fans and sump are in the garage so its dead silent. The controller it set to turn off the light if the system overheated but it has never happened, the fans to a excellent job, there not the 4" fans though they are 12" fans over the top of the sump and the sump is in an insulated enclosure.

Use chicken and Mackerel, I prefer the mack but you need to replace it more often, but I have less issues with sea lions with it. As for your luck its about finding the right spot and the right time of year. I usually start going 2-3 times a month starting in late september and I prefer (personal preference) to go at night.

Sorry to hear man, its probably the most fustraiting bpart of adding fish, creating a balance and getting all the fish to acclimate and get along. Good luck and really like the fish selection, maybe take a look at a male naso with streamers, less money and a very beautiful fish

Had one for about 18 months before it finally withered away, I did listen to that podcast at the time but the suggestions only helped for a while. The green ones should stay in the ocean, the purple ones seem to do better.

Someone was remodeling there house, painted the ceiling above their fish tank and spilt some, wallah! You could repaint with some orange paint now

Iad red slime when I first got my big tank, it was due to lack of flow. I get out a very strong pump about once a month and blow out all the rocks, if your not, I recommend it. Been doing kalk for about 2 1/2- 3 years in my tanks with no troubles.

Also in your setup I would NOT run the 8 bulbs that I did I would run 6, personally I would do 2,2,2 and use the actinic, this will easily penetrate to 18" deep and give light the whole width.
