  1. Mine gives the cleaner shrimps rides around the tank in exchange for cleaning duty. As far as growth rate, I have no idea.
  2. I will go on a limb here, I assume I need to cut the cap / lid out to so he can get partially in....? I will give it a try, maybe make one out of something a little bigger or 2 of those glued together so he has to get inside.
  3. I will give this a shot.... Might get lucky???
  4. I can see I'm going to have to rip out the rock. Engineers don't come out of the rock usually, during feeding he will pop his head out about 8" or so but never get out far enough to be netted. I think I've seen his whole body 2-3 times for a second or 2. Words can't describe my fustration, but this will give me an opportunity to get rid of my damsels too. I would like some smaller fish and due to his size they will be lunch snacks in no time (learned this the hard way). This will have to wait till week after next. Nyles-
  5. well, come on over... I got beer and a scooby-doo pole. lol I figure if I can net him (don't think my net is big enough though) I will throw him in the refugium till I find a home for him.
  6. Anyone have any advice on how to catch a 12-14" long engineer goby in a 155 gallon tank? I need him out (wife) ! There is around 150 lbs of rock and was hoping there was a TRICK without tearing out everything? Nyles-
  7. Errrrr.... Out of all my fish all seem to do fine other than a single Yellow Tang, he always seems to find the intake of my closed loop sequence pump and gets stuck to it. Someday I will spread the intake out wider. But thats another project. As far as the brace sounds like a simple fix. If it where me I would sacrifice looks and keep the brace and drill pilot holes, cut a few small bolts to size (I have some s.s. ones that will work) sand down the 2 ajoining surfaces (the new plexi and the old euro brace) and sandwich it with the combo of the bolts to retain till the glue sets. Its a little overkill, could do without the bolts. But you seen how much I overbuilt my hinged hood with t-5's too.. lol
  8. A good quality 2 part epoxy would work fine. I have some extra plexi laying around you can have as a band-aid. If its an All-Glass like mine I have a good idea what to do depending on where your fracture / break is..
  9. I might be able to help ya with that.....
