  1. well you all got a great deal. $2.50 each ended up being sponsored by Waves. Freight was $112. Worked out to $18.50 each.
  2. Bobs hydofora idea makes me wonder if that would work for aiptasia. Maybe you could just move it around to the locations of the aips and let nature take its course. I think Ill try it today, I have a couple monsters Ive been neglecting.
  3. Im building my new personal tank with a 4 way OM and a wavysea. Im not a fan of Tunze, they are a great product, But I dont like looking at powerheads in the tank. Seios are a great inexpensive alternative, Maxijet mods break (from what Ive heard, no personal experience) Seaswirls break, I had 4, in 3 years I replaced 4 motors, one caught fire and melted and in the end only one was still working. Not a very good return on my investment. I never messed with them, so I know I didnt break them (you cant manually turn them). Ringworms wave box looks cool, although its a bit fast for my liking, it almost makes me anxious, not relaxed. I would also worry about the life of the tank taking a beating like that every day.
  4. I think you can go bigger than a 50,,, think about 3 big huge dudes standing in a row,, that would be what like 900-1200 pounds? You wouldnt really think twice about doing that,, thats about like a 100-125 gal tank. (it would have to be against a support wall) Or a water bed? Plus, the worst that would happen is the people below would get wet, it wouldnt ruin any of your stuff jk
  5. Glad it worked out!!
  6. I wonder if anyone who has bought it and didnt like it would actually say "I dont like it". That would be a big bit of pride to swallow knowing what they paid for it. With that said I wonder how how accurate reports are,,, Im with Travis, wait and see what tanks look like that have them over it.
  7. Can you slow that wavemaker down or is that the speed it has to be for your sized tank? Good lookin setup, I would check out using Radiums instead of XM, I think you'll find them to be better. They have a new price tag now for everyone (not just waves I mean) so its not quite as painful....

  18. I for one have never seen a hermit with a nassarious snail on its back, but thats what these boards are all about, Getting everyones input and making a decision for yourself.

  22. $16.50 each then please, to cover fees with the CC and Paypal. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR SCREEN NAME IN PAYPAL PAYMENTS.
  23. nope. had one die in my nano,,, I thought it had lots of food since there was still some hair algae left, realized it was all near the anemone, I dont think it would go near it.
  24. IMO nassarious are not likly to be eatten by hermits,,, they are too dang fast, out only typically at night (unless food is around) and hide in the sand the rest of the time. When and how would a hermit catch them? I also believe hermits are the best at keeping the rock clean (with the exception of Turbos) and snails are best at keeping the glass and sand clean. Hence I think Hermits and Nassarius are the perfect match. Brandon, NOTHING can touch a seahare for hair algae irradication,,,
