  1. Paypal address is Joel AT Wavesreef.com I think Impur is working on shipping charges?
  2. I guess Ill take the bull,, I dont know what the total with shipping came out to, so can someone please find out. I will simply take the money, keep track of who paid and purchase the units. Then divide up the units to a few people to help distribute south etc. Paypal, Credit card via PM, email, or phone. (please provide 3 digits from back, exp, and address) Or bring by cash.
  3. I save it, but I always use the same syringe with the same reagent. I test 2-3 times a day so I want to save it, the reagent is always what runs out first too,,, Although like Spayne said, I dont mix reagents with new test kits, I only save the left overs after doing a test.
  4. I must have missed that post... Im happy to take care of the funds as well, I can take credit card too so that might be easier than dealing with paypal. Have them shipped to waves and peeps can take a load to the BBQ and down south to Eugene folk. Sound good?
  5. Where are theses going to be shipped? I will buy them solo if they are being shipped to Eugene, unless someone is bring them up this way at some point. saving $2-3 per unit is not worth driving to Eugene.
  6. maybe we need to do a north buy and a south buy? (or have him split the shipment) that way we dont have to travel 2 hours for these things. No way Im getting down to Eugene to pick them up. Others wont be able to make it to portland. Either they will have to make it to some meetings, or we should split up the shipment. Thoughts?

  8. Mike, You can pay Miles direct via paypal, or me via credit card if you dont want to do paypal. Doesnt matter either way. I think we should pause to take a look into $9.99. Pat can you give us any more info? Makes me curious, Grounded can be changed, Im really only looking for a base unit. I intend on rewiring a good portion of it anyway. Hate to throw a wrench in it, but Id like to get them for half the price.
  9. ya maybe even disposable, Ive got a few options as to what Im using,,, once I figure it out Ill post a thread about it with photos of the system.
  10. the standard wavysea doesnt go down into the water much at all, actually its less distance than a seaswirl. Im not sure why they used that extra 4" or so adapter at the top, must be because it was mounted well above the top of the tank. Even so it has it really low without that 4". It sure would be an expensive powerhead spinner, man I would DIY something before I would drop that cash if you were only using it to turn a powerhead. My tank is replacing my existing tank, so its 48 x 30 x 25, (one inch taller than mine). the closed loop is going all through the bottom, I have a CL intake design that will be a part of my overflow box. You can see it on the attachment, the squares on the sides are being lazer cut out of the glass, and Ill be making screens for them with black egg crate and black mesh. Mine is still a month out, hopefully sooner, they are slipping me in since Im on my 3rd tank from them already.
  11. Would it make sense to have them shipped here? I dont know where the largest concentration of people are, but people could pick them up here during the BBQ (or at the BBQ) since Im near the location. Just a thought.
  12. Ill pay last in case anyone wants to pay via CC on the phone. Then I can paypal or whatever the total cash back to you. If anyone is paying via CC on the phone, please call me during business hours Tues-Fri 12-7 Sat-sun 12-5 503-968-3200
  13. See Id rather not have that big clunker in my tank. I simply hate powerheads.... Rich is your return that deep in the tank? I hope you have a pretty big hole drilled out to prevent back syphon. I suppose though this device is mounted way above the tank water... It is a cool mounting bracket, I just dont like looking at powerheads hey Rich how is that new AO tank working out?! Ive got 2 coming next week, as well as one to replace my home tank in a few weeks.... STOKED!!
  14. IM bumbed they are showing the same crap as last time. The top 10 deadliest was on about 6 times last time they did shark week....
  15. Im with Keith, except I use underwater 2 part epoxy. give them a tickle till they pull into there hole then put a pea sized bead of glue and squish it into the hole. Joes Juice will kill, but they come back. Ive had luck with a torch,,, if you can take the rock out, burn the crap out of the area then return to tank. This way you can nuke it without damaging other stuff on the rock. I got some rock from a customer that is loaded with majano, (as shown in photo) I recently nuked a bunch with the torch, so far no one is returned.
  16. Shawn I had great luck on my home tank by drilling holes in the rocks and inserting PVC with a PVC Z at the bottom to support the verticle pipe that the rock is slid down. Recently, both my show tanks I simply arranged them in a dry tank. Then put in sand and filled with saltwater. I found that if they are stable while the tank is dry, once the water is put in and the sand around the bottom they become super stable. since they are lighter underwater it makes the rocks very stable. My front show tank with the big cave doesnt have a stich of glue holding any of the rock. the cave is actually 3 rocks stacked, its solid too.
  17. I too like seio, I havent had any problems with the 10 I have running here at the shop. Seio and Tunze have a broad flow pattern, they dont have a JET stream like maxijet (non mod), the flow is broad enough to gain lots of water movement without taking the flesh off your corals from the flow. I wish the 2700 had the over the top mounting bracket, be sure and kick Kevin for me when you see him, suction cups suck. Sean, be careful about posting pricing etc in the main boards. I would recommend keeping that in your own forum. PMs are fantastic as well.
  18. I recieved my wavysea order today, thought I would pass on some initial thoughts. Seaswirl thin cheap plastic housing Wavysea hardcore thick robust case Seaswirl 180 degree rotation Wavysea 1 degree upto 360 degree rotation Seaswirl one speed Wavysea 6 speed options Seaswirl One way mounting bracket Wavysea 6-8 or so different mounting postions Seaswirl Careful not to turn it, You'll break it!! Wavysea Robust motor, no worries pulling off fittings Hands down this is a much better product, abit alot more expensive as well. MSRP $269.99 Cool features: Easy to program takes like 20 seconds multiple fittings, input output etc, even accepts 1" PVC (output) so you can do anything with it. as stated lots of mounting options. Things I dont like about Wavysea, or that could be improved: no fittings to hard plumb the unit (only nylon hose fittings), and only at 90 degrees, not verticle Programming is lost if power goes out. (unit then stays still until you reset the program) why not a battery!? I wish you could do random speed, maybe each rotation it changes from speed 1 then 2 etc etc. No variable speed when using 360 degree spin rotation, although you can have it go 360 back and forth with variable speed. I have an "open box" model here at the shop, feel free to drop by and take it for a test drive.
  19. Ill take 5, Im happy to help deal with the funds regarding this group buy, if folks are willing to pay $20 instead of $19 to cover my fees, I can take credit cards over the phone then provide cash for the purchase. Not sure if that will help or not, but Im happy to do it. **EDIT I changed my order to 5 to make it an even $100**
  20. where are these coming from? Are there ones that do just have pigtails in back rather than outlets? I saw some folks on RC that wired these into normal outlets (so there is room for X10 boxes). Also, do they have surge protection? That would prevent X10 data from transfering. I may be interested in a few
  21. I sell both RO/DI and premixed as well if your are located in my neck of the woods.
  22. I use a nikon 8800, its an "SLR Like" camera. its basically fully adjustable point and shoot. I dont think you can touch Nikon for macro (not counting SLR which I have no idea). Im sure you've seen some of my shots, but you can see a bunch at www.wavesreef.com/photos
  23. honestly I dont know. I havent heard one really making much of a difference over the other. Shoot me a PM if you would like me to order you a unit.
  24. Yes. I wish I would have seen this 4 hours ago, I just placed an order with them. I sell them for the price listed on neptunesys.com
