Set the ph from 6.9 to 6.8. Set the pump at 10 ml/min. Test test test your alk. The only thing you ever adjust is the pump.

Bill, I have a big dual pump skimmer you can have. I got it from Aptasia box... I mean reef box, Brian. Two pumps.. that is like 200% better than one pump!!

I simply couldn't stop thinking about it. I was going to text you John but seems like you have it under control.

I have a piece of FRP you can have to mount behind your aquarium. I have two pieces actually one is 8' long x 30" high and one that is 18" tall. Protect that wall behind your aquarium and glue up some FRP.
And you probably already know this.. get rid of that light switch.

I think you would have to have a hole in your head to spend what they are asking for them new. A light, some plumbing, and a plastic sheet..$500?
B@#%$ please.
Oh wait, I take it back, this totally looks like it is worth $1000. https://www.santa-monica.cc/SURF8-or-SURF8x--built-to-order-floating-surface-2-compartment-upflow-scrubber-with-Green-Grabber-surfaces--8-cubes-feeding-per-day_p_64.html

bummer, should have bought that reactor for $50. I mean the geo is a great reactor, I have one.. but anyways.
If you want some solid advice, and well, even if you don't .. buy a cheap co2 regulator, and a Kamoer fx stp pump and you are good to go. Just run the co2 from your apex ph probe. Soooo easy to set up and the kamoer is rock solid.

first we need to know what your water source is...

He has a mighty magnet.
Hey @spectra, we are going to shoot sat. morning if your interested.

Sounds like a solid plan. I am going to hook my lanthium up to a doser this weekend. Probably looking at 10ml a day.
Caveat.. i have been testing phos everyday with the milwaulkie tester, otherwise i would advive against that.

I wonder, can magnets be cast into reef safe resin? It would be water tight for sure... hmmm You could even make it clear, so you could check for leaks / rust...
All resin is reef safe once it cures. So yeah, I am building a resin "river table" and was just going to pour the leftovers into a little mold. I emailed a magnet company and the appropriate magnets were going to be $120. But MarkV came to the rescue.

My aquarium is 1" thick so that is the issue. I have a great white mag cleaner but it isn't quite strong enough and it doesnt float if it falls off.
-
Im sorry but $350 for a magnetic encased in plastic... dude.. no

Mother $*@*^#<× missed is again!!

I seem to recall someone having a giant mag cleaner for sale. My great white is ok, but I would rather have something stronger. Like the mag float 1000.

trade the pink boobie for a good chunk of rainbow cyphastrea? Maybe a chunk of tort for a frag of branching pink cyphastrea?
-
you may want to add a little information like dimensions of each and thickness of acrylic, general condition, etc. Just a thought.

do you know what kind of reactor media it is>

It IS a ton of lanthium. A would say 1/3 of my rocks were cycled when I put them in the system. The other ones though.. I acid etched them which I think melts off the outer "skin" and exposes more phos? Who knows, I have it down to 0.08 for now. I have been dosing 5mm of LC daily.

I am going to say B-
They reference article you cited does provide an elementary outline of o2 and co2 production but the statement that plants produce co2 all the time is factually incorrect.
While SOME plants alternately cycle through transpiration and respiration, there are other plants that only complete each cycle depending on the time of day. CAM plants such as cactus actually open there stomata to absorb Co2 at night.
