Bill, if you have an apex, then programming it will be easy.  I am thinking it will take me an hour to install my motor and roller.  Keep swinging by tap plastics and grab that scrap!!

So finally found a little time to start fabricating a DIY roller mat. I am pushing around 3,000 gph through my sump so nothing is commercially available for that size.. plus they are stoopid expensive for what they are.  

Using left over acrylic and plastic mesh that I cut out of rectangular commercial kitchen collenders.  

I have a 12 volt window motor and a float switch to install.  

I have extra titanium heaters.  I bought a bunch for my big tank and ended up not needing them.

I could use some chaeto in the near future.  I am located in Hockinson which is... embarrassing to say this.. next to Vancouver.  

Are you a hand model? 

When I touch bristle worms I leave spikes in them.

For what it is worth, I have done a fair amount of reading about the best way to get rid of them when you see them (besides biological control) is to get them to retract and then encase them in super glue.  

I have a roll of 100 micron filter paper. I believe its 300' long.  Its about 8" wide but you can cut it down with a hacksaw. 

I bought a 24" wide roll for the new "monster mat" I am building but ended up making it 16" wide. 

Xanax might work for what you have. 

They are cheaper than you think.  My little honda 1,200? watt generator (which is great) was $1k.    I got that standby generator for $1,800 and it is 8,500 watts.  It turns on and off automatically by itself and even turns on once a week automatically to "exercise" itself for 5 minutes.   I calculated I can run it for like 15 days with my 200 gallon propane tank.  

It runs everything in my aquarium, the circuit that the TV is on, and my refrigerators.

Propane fired standby generator.

Power went out last night... I was still running my halides.   

If you have apex heartbeat setup then apex will ping your cell phone to tell you that the power is out..

LoL.  I have soo much new rock my phos has been crazy.  It was .75 but i knocked it down to .30 over three days.  Need to get it down further. My corals are happy, but so is all the algae 😞

curious to see what your overall inpressions are of the reefbot.  They came out with a pro model that is like $2500 or something.  

ThE magic ratio between phos and nitrate is still debated.  A lot.  Blah blah blah redfield.  

I am not really a fan of that ratio as just because something is comprised of a certain ratio of elements means nothing in regards to what it should be living in.  We are mostly water... i don't live in water.  Plants have a lot of nitrogen in them.. much much more than is in the soil.

I had CP but switched to disenfectant based on the advice of someone with a very big brain. Some say a genius, a very stable genius really.
