    Which LEDs?

I have a 48"L x 12"W x 21"H 55 gallon mixed reef (mostly lps w/1 anemone) tank. Currently running m2cbridge LEDs that a channel on one of the lights is going out (flickering at all intensities). Now the debate is what to get next? Ocean Revive, Hydra 26s, or ReeFi? 2 of each? Any suggestions?
  2. Cannot tell what the first pic is. Hard to see what it is. Second looks like a brown hairy mushroom. You can google it and find pics to see for sure. Third looks like maybe an acan of some sort. Check out http://www.liveaquaria.comthey have a pretty good description of each and what they require to survive.
  3. Those are sweeper tentacles. The coral extends them to get food or attack another coral in its vicinity. That looks like a frogspawn.
  4. Going along with the dip/quarantine theme how about how to handle corals when dipping, fragging, gluing, etc. I am so paranoid that I will damage the frag that I think I do more damage trying to be ultra careful. In the back of my mind I think that these things are in the ocean being beat by waves and God knows what else they have to be somewhat durable, right? Maybe a coral handling primer with regard to SPS, LPS, and zoa/softies? Sent from....
  5. If anyone is looking, I stopped by the Salem S. Commercial store today and they have 2 - 20L, 2 - 40B, and 3 or 4 55g tanks. Sent from....

  7. They didn't seem to bother anything in my tank. Little pink guys supposedly eat copepods. They disappeared after a while in my tank. Not sure what made them go away. Here is a pic of one on the glass. Sent from....
  8. Yep, I had them as well. All over my hammer, then all of a sudden they were gone. Not sure what caused them to go away. Sent from....
  9. By questionable I mean that on one channel the bulbs pulse a little bit. I am not sure if this goes away as the bulbs heat up which may actually be the case since I put the bulbs in a different fixture and they took a good 15 minutes to warm up and output consistent light the full length of the bulb. 10. No bulbs. $35 as one of the ballasts is questionable. They sell on eBay for ~$40. Sent from....
  11. Yes. The sump is 26L x 12W x 16H. Do you want sump and pump or just sump? Sent from....

  15. I would agree that the cycle is complete, but an increase in the bacteria population may help lower nitrates. Just a thought. Sent from....
  16. Not sure it would help, but have you thought about a bacteria add Like Bio-Spira? Sent from....
