That was fun going through all them pages reading everything that is looking so sweet congrats on that awesome set up with beautiful things in there.

New Toys and Some new company added to the tank today. Got myself a Phosban Reactor 150 added to the tank Yellow tail wrassie Orchid dottyback these suckers are bright as can be just flat beautiful and brings all kinds of life to the tank. I say these because i got a pair of them. Then a tail spot blenny he is by the wrassie in the one pic he already is trying to hide in every little crack he can. PS Like the yellow tail looks like he has a O on his Back Oregon They are by the RBTA Then the last pics i moved the rocks around this will be the final spot before i really start adding things now i wanted to make sure i had things set the way i wanted them so all good now. Ill try to get zoom pictures when they all get settled in them dotty backs are so beautiful and there not the real mean ones. Anyhow pic below is tank now

I bet that topic had you all curious Forget the toothbrush for cleaning anyone else use this? I wish i could show before and after of all the algae on my glass .. 5 mins on the glass and cleaning power heads and bam its done looking brand new. Not a fan of the tooth brushes little parts of them falling off in the tank. Anyhow thought i share what i use just got 2 more in from ebay 1 for back up but they last me about year year when i used them before. now bad tool to have for 10 bucks and this bad boy will clean everything!! It will get in every little crack and all as well

That's why I like the Tunze I have never heard of this unit failing. With the back up float and the led it is double protection and the float isn't like the other floats these are ran by springs. If one starts to go past the led then it will auto shut off with the float if the float goes above then the led will shut it off. Just double protection Now other top off systems that have float valves have many problems salt gets in them floats and lock them up and then you got a huge mess as it over flows on you that's a big problem so I'm not going that route been there done that That's why I'm paying a little extra for this one.

little bump maybe 10 to 20 gallon? just small set up for my back up or hospital use.

Im going to use the pump for something else and go with a Osmolator Universal 3155 Auto Top Off - Tunze From everything I see the protection this Tunza has with the LED top off to that back up float I think I fee safe having double protection from not waking up to messes.. The more I read about the Tunze the more I feel safer and If it cost me a bit more then ok at least I wont wake up to a mess.

Well this is a touchy subject im sure and im sure you could get 100 answers. But i will keep mine short yes remember these are skimmers and there are things in the tank that need to be there I don't think the word is Over skimming because I don't know if you could I'm no master by all means. But skimming to much I think would take out protein (But this is very hard to do) There was some add that I read that the skimmers do take out trace elements that you need as well. So there is my 2 cents I also use a bigger skimmer but not that big mine is rated for 130 gallons on my 100 gallon tank and does wonders. Just whatever you do make sure you go good water movement in there. For the record you will learn things that work for me that wont work for you or work for you that wont work for me so that's what great about asking is you learn from everyone and see what works for you. that is a beast though one rated for 200 gallons

Ok that made me stop and hold my breath for sec and gave me chills that's bad. May I ask was this a old tank? I have not heard of many seams splitting only one other time a guy was using blades to clean the glass like I do and I'm sure others do problem is he kept using it by the seam to I don't not even come close to that seam scares me.

yuck that's why seeing threads that say reefers worst night mare scare me to look at but I like to look see if someone needed help with something. I'm also open to helping anyone that needs help btw just cant lift with a bad shoulder and soon to go into surgery again. Where does the water exit off this thing? Part of being a skimmer means it skims and returns water that's what I have been taught and iv been doing this for 25 years. Having some lady show you something that you cant even understand means nothing there are many questions to be answered and I don't think one person in here is jumping anyone lol just giving there thoughts and wondering about questions which many need to be added. BTW the link above shows it down to 500.00 but it's not about the price I myself have reached out to this guy asking if he would like me to test and id set up a new tank for it. If people are going to sell then people are going to ask questions not just look a video with some woman and say ill buy Although she is cute still don't get my money I need results and testing and I mentioned I would help. If I bought everything in some video that some woman showed me I would never have a life or have the things I have now lol

This is true A wise man once said as well Nothing. Best to say nothing I'm bummed that you deleted everything. I don't think anyone was being personal maybe only seeing what they seen or heard? These are forums and you will have amazing things and you will have things not said the best. I don't think boards are to attack people only to hear what they see. To say what they saw. Or to post how they feel that's what its about. Sad that you deleted everything as a consumer I was hoping you would continue to post and get more reviews. I noticed someone who said they seen this and it didn't work or said most shops wouldn't carry it . That is his take, but you should have deleted everything and ran off that does show much support for your own product.. Nothing is slander on forums they are free speech. My only concern with this OR ANY PRODUCT is I need tests.. Not from a DR of something that's what we all do is get a DR to post. I want actual feed back good and bad. The fact people say it don't work and talk about it now is feed back is all. You ever thought maybe to toss one out to maybe 100 people have them run it for 3 months to 6 months if they like they buy at a discount 80% off or free. If they don't send it back. Look I wont tell anyone one to do nothing I know what has worked for me and ill leave it at that in my adventures. I'm not a big fan of some woman standing in a video doing nothing I would of like seeing this hooked up running to a tank step by step set up and ran. As I said only time will tell how good it is and hey if its good down the road with great reviews then I'm all in If you ever run tests of wanting people to run test for you then id hook up another tank and get one started (Not my established tank) But another one start from scratch build it up see how it goes. I own a website as well and although mine is a motorcycle site its the same thing you pay to get extra forums and extra bonuses we gave away a free cbr 1000rr from Honda only the members were entered. But not only that for me personally its more about the community before i even paid i already had 2 people message me and offer me free frags . Being on this site if there a member helping you whats 20 bucks thats nothing to be part of something you love and anything else the club has to offer or sponsors or gifts or deals heck that is all just bonus things of the hobby we love. I used it for many years and had sweet coral tank never had a problem with the set up.. I don't know all the scientific stuff other than I used it and worked good for me To lazy to go get a air stone pump so ill wait until tomorrow

Funny you posted this i was exactly thinking about adding a air stone to my return pump area i have always done this in every salt water tank i have had and things went well. I was told 25 years ago to put air stones in where the return pump is so it has stuck with me and actually will be doing that today as well cant hurt anyhow right?

I need a small pump for my auto top off system I'm getting nothing over 50 watt id be happy with 20 to 40 for slower pump for the system. If someone has one around if be interested shoot me a Message thank you.
