Thank you very much a ton of research and lots of trial and error in my years I have learned to do things in a quick manner but a safe one as well. The things I do I'm sure wont be for everyone. But with this hobby you always learn new things as well no matter how long you did it not to mention new things coming out. Now if only I can show the real color of these rocks with the blue lights on them makes the tank look so nice just staring at the rocks. I'm still not sure what I want for fish I know down the road ill go with a blenny I loved my blenny I had couple years back. Pods are producing like mad already in the tank to. Ill post more as I go now that I somewhat know how to post some pics

No just post them Actually I will look some up Those Goby's can be a wreck they sure can move the sand though I had a cool one but he was always changing my landscape and burring my frags on the bottom

Ok so i some what got the pics of my reefer 350 pics This is my 4th day for this tank all test are still perfect and tank running smooth and quiet as can be. Im impressed with the Gyre 150 i only run it at 45% this thing turns so much water in a circle motion through the whole tank its amazing to watch things flot in a circle hitting every dead spot in the tank this is worth the money you pay!

for sure the reefer 170 is also a outstanding set up.

40 gal breeder always nice one i went 20,to 40 breeder to 50 to 55 to 75 now to 100 if you think its to small not dont even bother to do nothing and just get a little bigger. As mentioned above the red sea is nice thats what i got the 350 they say its 91 but when i measure out the water and sump im coming up with 100 gallon gl

yep I agree I have been looking into it more. I have never used it ever never had a problem with my tank except a couple softies I couldn't keep so maybe it would help so I'm looking into it more. I always do research on everything before I buy or add for sure.

I'm Jealous Looking very good your going to love the Gyre i have the big one in my 100 gallon tank i just hooked up and i have to keep that sucker on low it moves that water like a darn tsunami not even kidding. If you got the big one I doubt you will need anything else with so many options on these things it will push water and do whatever you want it to do. This thing is like 6 darn power heads. Enjoy like your build nicely done.

Sweet good info and yea I agree on the no space thing I'm right there I have room for automatic top off spot right now I have one that come with the tank but don't trust them float valves to much that they come with my put a controller down there.. As far as it being to hard to dose I wouldn't think it would be don't you just give a certain amount everyday or you have to see what your at and measure or dose only certain amounts. Is it like 4 oz a day or is it 2.3 one day 4 the next etc?

The Hardness plus you just mix direct then right with water? Interesting only reason I asked about the baking is I read people talking about it. I have never went with dosing anything yet but love to learn and hear about new ideas and ask lots of questions

For me personally one thing I learned years ago when I want a 10 I better go 20 if I want a 20 go 30 or 40 lol I'm at 100 total with my tank and sump now so I'm excited I moved from the nano to the 10 to the 20 to the 40B to 55 now to the 100 Look forward to seeing ya get going I'm always trying to peak at peoples builds

Today i dropped in pods and cleaner crew the blue light shows the purple on these rocks like nothing if ever seen with these LED'S I took pics but no way does it show just how beautiful it is. All test are running perfect Salinity at .25 still Tank is looking wonderfull added 1 last rock to the tank to make my formation ill get more pics later the set up i like a lot I just need a camera that can take good pics of the amazing purple and red on the rocks..

which 5 do you have? BTW I want to go some what small fish under 4 inch as adult

Ok i know this is a hot topic i know i kind of always wondered myself. Isnt it like 1 fish for every 5 gallons? Does this include both tank and sump so i have a 91 gallon tank actually about 79 the rest is the sump So do i take the 91 gallons total or just the 79 So about 16 fish or more. I know this can be all over the place and maybe I'm figuring this wrong. All my gar in the tank is rated for 50 gallons more sump wave maker etc so I did over kill on things but I don't care I'm curious as to what you folks have out there.

That baking soda you mix right from the bag to raise alk:? or lower the lesslie for calc so this stuff actually like helps feed them? What does it mean when people talk about cooking baking soda as well.

I get them set for 9 am start up 11 pm shutdown. The 2 of them bring out massive color in the tank im sure once the cloud from the water settles it will look better. Now i just wait and keep testing everything. I was always a T5 person so this is my first time trying LED so we shall see how this goes.

Day 2 im a bit lazy today just reading reviews and looking over the net for reviews on certain things as well. I'll go install the lights here in a bit i keep having to check to make sure things are running ok i must say i have never been around a aquraium that is so silent. It;s like a hybred car you dont even know it's running the Reef Octopus 110 i have running is so quiet the whole system is im amazed so far as to how well things are running so quit and nice. Salinty after 24 hours is running 1.024
